I got up "I got beat up by an erudite" I replied not in the mood for funny stuff "and best of all, I almost killed a few people"

I grinned. " An Erudite? Seriously." I laughed And sat on a gernie that was on the foot of his bed. " either way, dauntless almost kill people all the time so, stop trying to be impressive cuz it ain't workin." I observe his injuries, that were pretty intense but not severe.

I rolled my eyes "yeah" I agreed, all the time "and it's getting annoying"

"What? You don't like fighting? If that's so, maybe you shouldn't be in dauntless." I said, taking the gauze from the nurse and the wet towel she gave me to clean my bloody knuckles with. When, they were clean I carefully, and firmly wrapped the gauze around my left hand, than my right.

"I love fighting" I corrected "but I hate killing"

I could relate to that. Killing, is often unnecessary and harsh, so I nodded in understandment.
" how long have you been in err?" I asked curiously as I threw away the bloody towel.
