Volo Pro Veritas: A Disney's Planes Role-Play

Hello everyone, welcome to Propwash Junction, Minnesota. I guess it would have been pretty hard to find us before our hometown hero Dusty Crophopper decided to beat the odds and become a world racing champion. Now, however, we are... well, we aren't super well known, but we are nearly to the point of putting us on the map! I hope you're thinking about staying here for a while, or perhaps even moving in. Either way, I hope you feel at home and free in our town.

**EDIT: She's probably closer to Rochelle, actually... but she's a mix between an Air Force plane (Edit about that below) and a type of racing plane that's unknown, as her mother left when she was a baby.

**ANOTHER EDIT:Tera's father is the second Have Blue prototype, or F-19, a design attempt at a stealth fighter that was marked ultimately successful despite the crashes that retired both of them. He probably could have survived the crash that killed the one in real life, as he wouldn't have had a pilot; the F-117's, or Nighthawks, that he was training are just bigger, more advanced versions of the Have Blue experiments.

Kin: The only one she even felt connected to was her father, her mother leaving before she could even remember. Admiral Wingston trained recruits at the base, and while he never went to battle, he died in a training accident.
Personality: She's independent because she was left alone a lot as a child, however, she was also overprotected by her father, so she wasn't allowed to get too close to anyone. Needless to say, she doesn't like feeling helpless or needing help in any form. When her father died, she had nothing left and decided to leave to pursue her own dreams. These dreams are what keep her sane in her time of confusion, so any suggestions other than what's on her plan will probably be taken harshly.
History: Growing up on an Air Force base with all other military planes, she was rather unique; she was abandoned by her mother, so her father raised her while training recruits on the base, some transferring to the Navy to become Jolly Wrenches. She wasn't allowed to fly most times to keep her safe, but whenever she did she loved to time herself flying around courses she came up with. Unfortunately, her father died in a training accident that killed three planes along with him. With nothing left for her, she took off, unsure of where to go other than away.
Weakness: She's a daddy's girl without her father; being protected so much when she was younger, she doesn't know what the real world's like; she'll trust anyone she meets, even if just for a second, which could mean the difference between life and death. Also because of living on an Air Force base, she's seen the damage that other planes can inflict on each other, which can make her hesitate if she needs to hurt an enemy to escape, and even then she'll think twice. Even if she does fly fast, she's not the best in averse conditions, such as storms; this is another side effect of living in Arizona all her life, which has perfect conditions for flying most of the time, with the exception of the occasional monsoon. Because she hasn't been exposed to it, she's afraid of getting above the clouds because she's not able to gauge her altitude based on the ground; if she can't see the ground, she won't fly in that part of the sky.
Strengths: She's a very fast flier in good conditions, which makes her the perfect candidate to race, should she ever get the opportunity. She also knows some (but not many) flight maneuvers to assist her in this, which can also help her should she ever need to fight. Unbeknownst to her, she also has guns just outside the range of her propeller that blend seamlessly into the rest of her structure, making them invisible to just about anyone unless they really look. It's unknown if they're loaded or operational.

She'd been flying for... she didn't know how long. She'd even stopped banking or doing tricks for fun. She just wanted out. Looking ahead, Tera saw a rather large storm cloud over what she thought was Minnesota, but she'd lost track a long time ago. Dipping lower to get below the obstruction, she glanced at the ground when she felt a raindrop on her wing. Soon after, several more pelted her, and she realized that she was flying straight into a storm. Not wanting to stop, she pushed her engine to keep its course, the wind picking up as she flew on. Maybe if she could get through a little more, she could land somewhere, even if she didn't want to. A flash of lightning filled the sky, striking her tail. Plummeting towards the earth, her systems going haywire, she extended her landing gear, knowing it wouldn't do much, but she couldn't help it. She felt a splash of water and saw bright yellow before she blacked out.

Morningfire had been feeling rather cooped up in the past couple of days, saying it had rained all day everyday. Right now she was sitting in her hanger, watching the river's bursted banks as waves lapped at them. Her hanger was down below the plateau that Propwash called its home, and right now the river was threatening her household. She desperately hoped the river wouldn't flood all the way to her home but right now it didn't seem an entirely solid thing to hope.

The Spitfire could hear something, something other than thunder or rain against the roof. It was the sound of an engine -not uncommon around here- but the sound was getting louder and louder in the most unnatural way... as if... as if... no, that couldn't be. The plane quickly opened her hanger door and taxiied outside. To her horror, she saw a plane plummeting towards the earth, landing gear extended and nearly screaming. There was nothing Morningfire could do at the moment other than to call out to aim for the river.

By some small chance, the plane managed to adjust herself perfectly so that she splashed into the deepest part of the river. Morningfire was there as soon as she could be to help the plane out of the raging river, but the river was too fast at the moment. There was no way to save the plane at the moment... but the Spitfire had to try.

Tera groaned, trying to open her eyes at least, but it seemed impossible. She felt herself floating slightly for some odd reason, but she was also moving... down a river, it seemed like, but she wasn't sure as she had never landed in one before. She jolted to a stop, possibly catching on a rock with her landing gear, but she hurt too much to know if it was a dream or for real.

Morningfire tracked alongside the river, keeping up with the plane that bobbed up and down in the waves. She got to a bend in the river and saw that the plane -which she could now see was a female- had caught on some of the rocks at the slower part of the bend. She let herself roll into the river slightly, careful not to get stuck in the mucky bottom, and hooked her propeller onto the plane. She rolled in reverse*, trying to drag the younger plane to shore.

*Technically, there are very few planes that can taxi backwards, Spitfires are not among them. This note has been changed due to that fact that Planes breaks this rule many times as well as the fact that living planes may have many different abilities than real planes.

She felt something hook onto her propeller, but there was nothing she could do. She'd lost all power to anything involving motion, but she could feel her front tire reach dry land thanks to who- or whatever was helping her. She just wanted to ride the desert breeze again, banking further and further up and watching the base get smaller below.
