Holly handed him a few of the longer strips and brought over the shorter ones.

Hiccup took the straps and went back over to the Night Fury. He sat down and gently placed his hand on her tail to hold it still.

She flinched. And she had o so many reasons to. First of all, it hurt. Second of all, she didn't really want him to touch her injured tail. She had no other choice but to look at him. If she did anything else it didn't look like the boy's nightfury would hesitate to attack.

Hiccup didn't press as hard on her tail, and he put a strap near her tail to see if it would work.

She relaxed and looked at the nightfury, somehow asking, 'Is this safe?'

Toothless nodded once, replying somehow, "Yes."

Hiccup carefully wrapped the leather straps around her tail like a cast. "There." he said, taking his hand off her tail.

Okay... Well if he said it was safe it'd better be.Tali turned to look at her tail. It felt… weird…
She sniffed it. It didn't smell really normal either. Talikira stared at it for a while. What, was she just supposed to be able to fly now or was it magic or something..? Well, no time to waste! She had to try. Talikira spread her wings and started to try to fly. She crashed into a bush. Nope. It was still broken. Apparently the leather helped it heal though... But what was she supposed to do until it healed?

Hiccup got up quickly.

Toothless said to the other Night Fury, "I would suggest getting some rest, but that's just my opinion. Ask him."
