Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ~ Inferno ~

april frowned slightly. "Who is we?" She asked. Although she had an idea of who we was, she still asked. This girl seemed desperate to get her. 'oh god. Where was Donnie when you truly needed him?' she asked herself in her thoughts. If she went with link - she might be doing something terribly bad, maybe falling into a trap. If she didn't, she would remain curious and feel a bit guilty for not giving link what she wanted.

Aurora narrowed her eyes, asking herself the same thing in her head. Who is we? She looked at the two, stepping bit closer. She quickly hid behind a trash can that was a tiny bit closer to the two girls.

Link took a step back, her frown deepening. "That.....that which the one known as April O'Neil wishes to know will be revealed if the one known as April O'Neil comes with the one known as Link, to the place that you are not, but soon will be." her eyes flicked momentarily to a trash can to the side; she was becoming more and more on-edge by the minute. "The one known as Link will not do the one known as April O'Neil that which is known as 'harm'."

Donatello coughed violently as he stumbled through several rooms. The blinding smoke had already invoked several stinging tears. The black ash was slowly seeping into his lungs and filling his chest with a burning pain that grew more laborious by the minute. "Leo," he choked out, slouching against a creaking wall and wiping his brow. "Mikey..." he murmured halfheartedly. He was in the middle of another cough when the floorboards beneath him started to groan. His eyes widened, and the wood gave way beneath him. Wood splintered his shell as he came crashing through several stories. He hit ground-level hard and moaned miserably, forcing himself to his feet. He shook his head, trying to clear it. "Leo! Mi--wah!" he pranced out of the way as a rather heavy piece of flaming wooden furniture nearly flattened him into a turtle-pancake. "The whole place is going down. But I can't leave--" he was cut short when a wooden beam fell inches from his face, forcing him to leap out the nearest window. Glass exploded everywhere, but Donnie had escaped relatively unscathed. He stared in horror at the burning building. Leo and Mikey were still in there somewhere, and it was on the verge of collapse!!!

(Yeah...certainly makes things...interesting...xD)

april shook her head slightly. "I cannot not go with someone i dont know nothing about," she said honestly. She crossed her arms across her chest, taking another step back. She turned her attention to the burning building , some of it collapsing. "Donnie, mikey, leo.." She trailed off, her eyes tearing up a bit. she forced her attention back to link, but most of herself was worrying about the turtles.

Donatello was about to leap right back into the fray when he heard voices, and realized they were emanating from an adjacent alleyway. Who in their right mind would be so close to a burning building? He glanced at the fire, then back towards the alleyway, momentarily conflicted. He knew immediately which of the two was more futile, but still...He strained his ears, and was shocked to identify one of the voices as April's. "April!" he cried, dashing around the corner and stopping dead when he spotted April with another girl...a pink girl? He stared for a few seconds, then tried to backtrack slowly, hoping he hadn't been detected. But the pink girl had already spotted him.

Link's eyes widened at the sight of the green mutant creature. Her panic levels soared to unhealthy heights, and before she even knew what was happening, she was dashing down the streets, away from April O'Neil, away from the green thing, away from the pressure of getting the job done. She sprinted and sprinted. Harder, harder. She didn't stop until she was several blocks away; she found another alley and crouched against the wall, utterly dejected. "The one known as Link could not retrieve the one known as April O'Neil. The one known as Link has failed..."

April turned sharply when she heard her name be called by a familiar voice, a voice she couldn't be happier to hear. She gasped when link ran past her, watching her take off. She frowned. "Oh, Donnie! Thank god your OK!" She said, a tear of happiness falling down her cheek. She ran to him and quickly hugged him. Then she realized the other two weren't with him. "Where's Mikey and Leo.." She murmured.

Mikey broke out into another coughing fit, this time it was more intense since more and more smoke surrounded Leo and him. He couldn't take it. Mikey's eyes waters from his hard coughing, soon, the young turtle fell out of Leo's grip and onto the floor, the burning floor groaned loudly as his body fell on it.

Aurora peaked over the trash can, her eyes widened; for a second she thought she was some sort of green person, she watched the pink girl run, confused, Aurora tried to sit up taller to listen in better. Bad Idea. Aurora boncked her head on the trash can and it fell with a loud clank!.

Donnie had been staring at the pink girl as she dashed off to who-knows-where, but when he heard April calling him, he immediately shifted his gaze to her. "April!!!" his shoulders drooped at the mention of his brothers. "I...I don't know..." he admitted hoarsely, casting a forlorn glance back at the building.

April shook her head. A few more tears streamed down her cheeks. She sniffled, "Donnie..." She trailed off. "They're still in that fire? Oh my god," she said, panicking. "no, no, no..." She kept repeating to herself. She suddenly felt weak, falling to her knees and staring at the ground.

Leo flinched and threw his hands protectivly over his face as a wall fell still burning with flames. There wasn't any more time to look around for more people they needed to fet out. "Mikey!" He yelled tryimg to see his brother threw the smoke. He coughed hard his chest straining. He saw the turtle on the ground and heard a creak from the floor. He darted forward smashing into his brother just as the floor fell from beneath them. Leo reached up and grabbed onto a board of wood still secure with one arm. He looked down at Mikey who he was holding onto with one hand. "TRY AND GET OUT THE WINDOW USE YOUR NUNCHUKES" he yelled down to him as the flames roared around them. He heard another creak and hoped that Mikey would be fast.
