Donnie looked at April and knelt beside her, examining the wrist carefully. "You're right," he consented with a dip of his head. "It's not that bad." he stood up, putting a hand to his chin. "I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Just tell me if it starts to bug you." He sighed; he was getting really tired of dealing with the endless burns. The fires had become tedious. Link started as her gaze landed on someone moving towards her - two people, actually. She telepathically picked up their presences and quickly identified them: the siblings from the Inferno. Her expression contorted into that of indecision, suddenly torn between staying to see Seiko and running to escape Hiro. Surely, the brother only wished to return her to the Spark. As for Seiko...the intentions of the one known as Seiko were not as clear. Still feeling threatened, she took a few panicked steps back, her breathing-rate heightened. You will not harm Link!!!!!! she practically screamed into their brains, the telepathic voice tinged with an edgy panic resemblant of a cornered animal.
R&B's face heated just a bit when she caught the subtle implications of his remark on non-humans, but she cocked her head to the side, appearing interested. "I'm listening," she assured him as she started to walk with him towards the park. She wondered what he could possibly have to offer...if it was more exciting than lounging around in the sewers with nothing but an iPod and a half-empty spray-paint bottle as entertainment, she was willing to consider it.
