I shook my head no an continued looking out the window, listening to 'Angel with a shotgun' by the cab. This was one of my favorite songs, one that brings back both good and bad memories.

Artemis gave a nod of acknowledgement to Tori's reply to her question. She understood the other girl's situation, it being the same for her except with owls, she was going to get an owl, though her parents decided one was enough as another would make a mess and that wasn't worth it. "Owls would be useful," she shrugged in agreement. "My parents are never home so they don't really care, as long as I pay for any damage done and make sure everything is cleaned up," she answered with a shrug. "Cosmos" she added gesturing sideways to her cat with her head. She got the feeling that this girl was used to socialising with ulterior motives usually those that would benefit her parents of family in some way.

"Cosmos is a cute name." Tori said, managing a small smile and really hoping that it didn't come off as looking like a smirk. This is the longest conversation I've had with someone my own age in a while. "I think it's more of a trust thing with my parents. I always get great marks, they would give me the longest lecture ever if I didn't, but they don't want to risk any distractions. Something like that anyway; so I don't really spend much time around pets, or other teenagers for that matter. Do you think she'll mind if I pet her?" Tori asked, she wasn't bad with animals or anything, she just didn't spend much time around them. She did know that it would be rude to touch the cat without asking though, so she looked up at Artemis as she waited for a reply.

Isobella came back with berty botts, a licorice wand, a pumpkin pasty, and a chocolate frog. " I got us all some extra stuff too to munch on"

I barely heard a person in the background so I lift my head up to see who it was, it was the fellow gryffindor girl who jut sat down. I realized again that I really should be nice to her since she's in gryffindor with me, I really don't need anyone that's out for me this year, I've had enough of that.
" Bernie botts?" I asked, eying her box of candy.

Isobella nodded and tossed her the box with a smile and relaxed back in the seat "what year are you guys?"

Sara smiled at Isobella. "Thanks!" She said taking the frog and paying her back. "I'm a seventh year."
