"Sure... But we'll have to be careful of Ballarat" Melbourne said a little sternly.

Greenland paused and glanced at her. "She's wearing gloves. We're fine," she said.

"All right.." Melbourne stood. She looked at Ballarat. "C'mon sis"

[Immortalkitten]

"Or if you want to keep hiding in a safer place, I could let you stay at my place. Robots can't get there," Greenland said, looking up from her notes.

[the machine]

"Yeah, somewhere safer." Gold Coast added. Ballarat stood up hold her koala.

[Immortalkitten]

"One thing." Greenland said, standing up with them. "Ballarat wouldn't be able to go. She'd freeze."

Ballarat looked down at her koala. Even though it wasn't shown on her face, she felt upset.

"Sorry," Greenland said. "Hey! You can write, can't you? Could you tell me what it's like being a robot?"

Ballarat nodded she put her koala down and searched for a piece of paper. And a pen too.

Greenland handed her her pencil and looked around the room, waiting.
