a new disease has been found... And it's spreading fast.

A new disease has recently been discovered by scientists. It is foreign from earth, but no one is sure where it's from. A few weeks later, it multiplies... And spreds. Even nations/cities/states can get it! Some have already been infected while the others who are not infected are searching for a cure. But... This is no ordinary disease, this is way different... You still live if you have the disease but you are different. When you catch the disease, you happen to feel really dizzy at first then, your skin becomes metal and your insides become machinery and finally, you had become an emotionless robot. You can't show facial expressions but you still have feelings. You can't speak or make any noise with your mouth, you are silent due to the disease removing your mouth and making it a single metal plate. You can only tell someone how you feel by using the rest of your body. The disease can only be spread if someone who is infected with the disease touches your bare skin with their left hand. Because of what the disease does, it has been nicknamed the machine disease. You are one of the only nations/cities/states to not have this disease. You must work together with the others to find a cure... And fast!

rules

1. No swearing

2. No fighting, just small arguments but don't start real massive fights over something small.

3. You need to work together. Remember, you need to find a cure and stop the machine disease. You cannot just go off and start your own search, I need everyone to be together so I can keep track of what's happening.

4. Nothing mature. Please, is it logical to do that 'steamy' stuff in the middle of a disease spreading across the world? I didn't think so.

5. If your character is infected, they cannot show facial expressions nor speak or make a sound with their mouth at all. They still do have eyes but no mouth, just a metal plate covering where a mouth would go. You can't just make them some how talk to show what they want.

6. Do not change the way the disease is spread, please. It's annoying if you change the way it's spread.

7. Don't just automatically find a cure on the first page. Really, it takes time for a cure to be found. Do you think when someone got small pox they automatically found a cure? No! Logically, it takes a while. So if you 'magically' find a cure on the first 4 pages, it will not make any sense. Give it at least 308 pages until you can find a cure.

8. Please ask for permission from me if you want your character to come up with a way to find a cure. If I say no, then you cannot. Basically, all their trying to do now is survive and study the disease.

9. Your character can help find a cure if they're infected, just make sure they don't spread the disease.

10. Your character can get the disease off a random person that is not playable at the moment, just not a nation.

11. Do not go past 10 pages without me.

12. The only non logical stuff I want to happen here is obviously the disease. Seriously, throwing up on someone who's infected is pretty much not logical

13. Animals can be infected too. If they're pets, their owners must be infected too.

14. No yaoi or yuri ships here, some people might not like them.

15. Don't kill off characters, please.

Human name: Kaitlyn Newell
Age: As in, since establishment? 753.
Infected?: No, and there's a reason if you want to know.
Personality: She's more serious and blunt than her brothers, but she's still pretty easy-going and caring. She is sharp-witted and prefers to do things on her own when she can. She is practically resistant to the cold, but because most other countries aren't, she doesn't get many visitors, making it very hard for her to warm up to people. She is very close to Canada and enjoys visiting him, but America often annoys her for various reasons.
Other: Greenland is America and Canada's sister (Yes, technically she is. Her first inhabitants were from Canada), and she is currently under Denmark's rule. She takes pride in being the northernmost country in the world.

Bored, the three sisters, well two that were not infected, started to talk about whatever, only asking yes or no questions to their infection sister, since she can only respond in body movements and can't speak due to the machine disease.

The moment Greenland had learned of the disease, she cut off all trade and went up to the northern end of her country. It was so cold in that area of the Arctic Circle that the robots couldn't stand the temperature and their mechanical parts froze. However, when Canada had come and asked her for help, she reluctantly agreed and followed Canada down to help other countries with the problem. At first she pored through various libraries for a cure, but since that turned up nothing, she decided to look for other countries that were infected, and ones that weren't, and ask them if they'd found anything. So now here she was, in the middle of nowhere. Looking for countries.
