I leapt onto my horse and galloped after Ashley. I managed to lose her and slowed my horse right down. Not good... I better not be lost, Erika needed me...

Ashley saw a faint figure in the distance. She knew it was a human, because the horses snout was obviously shaped. She kicked her mare's appendage and sped ahead, looking at Viola. "Why the hell are ya out here? You should've been watching Erika." She said worriedly. She then remembered the fight Ashley and Viola had a few days back. She pushed her thoughts aside, waiting for a response from Violet. "It was a titan. 7 meter class, average titan."

"She's alright, she knows not to stray-" I was cut off when I heard hooves galloping in another direction, "Stupid girl!" I cried out and set my horse in that direction. Oh, why had I trusted her...

Ashley.
"I told you!" She exclaimed, kicking her mares appendage. She sped ahead, catching up to Viola easily. Her pale blonde hair covered her grey eyes slightly, enough to hide the annoyance in her eyes.

I took a few gasping breaths and spotted the horse with Erika on it's back. I caught up and yanked the reins to bring both horses to a stop. "ERIKA! WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING?!" I yelled at her.

Ashley.
"Hey! Don't scare her like that!" She said shyly, trotting over. She looked over Erika carefully. "Are you okay, Erika?" That was her first concern. "Did you see anything?"

I turned to look at Ashley with cold eyes, "I want to find Len. I know he's not dead, he's not!" I cried out. He couldn't be... He couldn't...

I gave her a sympathetic look and immediately felt bad about yelling. She was in denial...

Ashley.
Ashley's grey eyes teared up as she looked down. "E-erika.. I-i told you i-i wish I had been lying yesterday. Y-yesterday... Len was eaten.. by a titan." She looked down, whispering. "I-i couldn't do anything."

"She stopped by me before she left... Without any light source.." Armin groaned, "why did I let her go?" He mumbled a few disappointed words to himself before he noticed the blonde locks of hair and Crista's soft voice calling out, he shot his head up and trotted his horse next to Crista's. "Mikasa left last night... She's not back yet.." The blonde boy continued blaming himself for letting Mikasa go alone.

"So you let her go alone? Into the forest?" Christ asked with a slight tilt of her head. Those trees were very tall and rather menacing. They could hide a titan and you wouldn't see it until the very last moment and that alone might send some of those who hadn't fought a titan before into a chaos.
