Alex stood back shaking her head with frustration.
"You keep ignoring my questions. What would you do about it? How could you make me not and why is there a reason for me not to?" She said, sounding slightly hurt. Alex didn't want to do this but she wasn't there for her father when he died so why should people be there for her? But sighing, she nodded her thanks, and walked up the steps to the house.

Tamesis moved his gaze from her face to the screen. Freddie was etched into Tamesis's mind, but he smiled. He found that he was very aware of his arm on the back of the sofa. Should he put his hand on her shoulder? Surely not, it would hint emotions that he was sure he wasn't feeling. And yet his arm was still tingling.

[Harpy•]

Raquel hunkered down a bit further into the sofa beside Tamesis as the murdering began, her hand tightening around the soda. She couldn't tear her eyes away from the screen, but her apprehensiveness was lightened by the fact that Tamesis was beside her, sitting on the couch and watching the same movie, eating the same food. The thought made her happy and comforted her somehow.

Damon frowned, then moved quickly after her, coming to the top of the steps before she could get to the door. He put a hand on her shoulder, his eyes intently searching her face. "Alex, what's wrong?" he asked quietly, his expression worried, concerned for her. "Why are you talking like this?" To be honest, it was frightening the heck out of him. He hated hearing her talk that way.

Alex breathed in and back out slowly, tilting her head back and looking at the ceiling as if to say "Heaven help me." Then swallowing hard, Alexis told him everything. The part about when she was born her mother died, her father looking after her, losing her brother in the sickness and her father soon after that, not being there when they died, being asked "What was it like when they died?" and having to say "I wasn't there.", and all the people neglecting her because of it. By the end of it all, Alex was leaning against something with her hand supporting her head, attempting to hold everything in.

Damon remained silent for a few moments, shocked, then moved to her, wrapping his arms comfortingly around her, drawing her close to him. He sighed quietly, closing his eyes and soaking her words in. "Alex...," he said quietly, then stopped, not knowing what to say. What could someone say in a situation like this? I'm sorry? No doubt Alex had heard absolutely enough of that. He decided to say nothing, instead holding her in comfort.

Alex stepped back and then tried to change the subject. "So what now? Are you planning on sending me to the emergency department at the hospital?" She said mockingly, her eyebrows raised. Laughing slightly Alex wiped hair out of her eyes with a slender hand and then looked around. "Don't tell me this whole house is yours."

Damon smirked, then chuckled, shaking his head. "No, I'm not sending you anywhere," he answered, then grinned at the look on her face. He arched an eyebrow at her, leaning against the doorway. "What? I'm not allowed to have a house like this?" He grinned at her, and chuckled again, his own eyes moving over his house. It could use a little TLC...it was a bit dusty in places, and needed to be vacuumed, but other than that, it was big and still cozy.

"Oh that's good then. Some house." She mumbled, her eyes running over the structure. Alex had always liked architecture. Smiling slightly, Alex rubbing her arm, twisting it slightly just to stretch it. Then she laughed and looked at the sky then back at Damon. "You still haven't answered my questions."

The fact that the characters couldn't sleep in the films or else Freddie would come after them, was disturbing. And yet, he found that he was enjoying himself. It was nice here, beside her. Beside the blue eyed girl. A particulary scary part came up and he jumped. Maybe it was on purpose, he had no idea, but his shoulder was against hers, their bodies touching. He leant forwards to grab a handful of popcorn and then opened his hand out like a plate, and picked them off, his eyes on the screen, but his mind on Raquel.

Raquel almost lost all focus on the movie when Tamesis moved even closer, their shoulders and legs touching. Her eyes caught a movement out of their perephoral vision, and she realized that he was holding his hand out like a plate, with popcorn on it. She reached over, her eyes still on the screen, and took two pieces from his hand. When she drew her hand back, her fingertips brushed his palm. She blushed deeply and settled back against the couch again, her mind racing around Tamesis while the movie played for her eyes.

Damon raised an eyebrow, then sighed, running a hand over his head. "What would I do about it?" he murmured, his eyes becoming slightly distant. "I would switch places with you in an instant. How could I make you not do it? I could jump in your place before you could do it yourself. What reason is there for you not to?" He paused here, searching for the right words, his eyes still a bit distant. "I care about what happens to you."
