"Long as I need, sweetheart." Thievery grinned and disappeared as a shadow. He voice echoed around the dead end. "Too bad you have no access in here...."

"So you believe...I've been working on that myself. I'll get you...that's why I'm the shadow...darkness is everywhere." Samuel said. "But...I might have gotten bored already...least you've been a bit more interesting."

Thievery poked her head put of the shadows. "well maybe you would have more fun if you didn't just start with the big guns." She said. "If you toy with your victim first, you know....cleaver limbs, tears their lungs out and make them watch their own breathing, that sort of stuff, you would have more fun." the homunculus said and completely stepped from the shadows. "And the plus side of me being a homunculus is that you can try different ways of killing me without having to go find victim after victim. So, come at me."

(Sinking figuratively or literally into the shadows?)

John washed the dishes and nodded. "Ok then. I gotta go to work...maybe you can come."

"...Do you think they will allow that?" Axis asked. She put the syrup and butter away for him.

[Furenzied]

"Hmmm...tearing out the lungs doesn't let them keep breathing, I've tried, only immediately stops it..." Samuel said. "What have I done though?...sealed someone alive in preexisting roads...shredded someone to ribbons, atomised someone, incineration, lateral severing...I suppose I've never hung anyone with their own insides before but thats too messy in my opinion..."

"In the low security areas most likely." John said. "Absolutely not in other areas but I've got higher clearance than most..."

"...soooo, I can come?" Axis asked again, "..."

Thievery gasped. "you've never done that?! Its quite fun. Also, getting to watch them squirm and scream in pain when you rib their intestines out of their stomach is entertaining."

(Actually, its quite interesting. A form of torture in the Middle Ages was where they'd cut the person open, and lift the lungs out of the body before holding them up for the person getting tortured to see.)

John nodded happily. "Just don't do anything crazy."

Samuel sighed a bit. "I prefer...discresion..."

"....you just burn the corpse after you've had your fun. Or do what I do, which is either feed the body to Gluttony, or dump it in the Shadowlands." Thievery said. "So are you going to kill me or no?"

"Bye..." He said with a sad sigh and wave.
