Aurora's eyes widened yet again as she leaned forward to get a better look at Diaval. "I knew you were special Diaval. But you're wrong about me. I am absolutely normal. But I thank you kindly for your words. The soldiers are still out there, right? Are you worried?"

Diaval shook his head. "I think we are safe." He said, giving Aurora a kind and reassuring smile. "Even so, I shall protect you. As I said earlier, it is my job." He said. 'For now.' He thought.

Maleficent

She rose from her seat on the ground, still looking over at Diaval. "Quickly... Quickly..." She muttered. She hid herself behind the tree once more, and banged the base of her staff on the tree, making a noise that would resemble a woodpecker.

Diaval heard the noise and sighed. "The forest calls to me. I must go." He said. He took Aurora's hand and kissed the tipoff it. "It has been an honor. Perhaps we shall meet again soon?"

Aurora's smile quickly emerged as her hand was captured in Diaval's. She felt his lips gently touch the surface of her hand and her face flushed light red. She nodded her head in understanding. "Okay Diaval. I suppose I better check on my aunts."

She flew over to the tree behind the dark fairy. She watched, making her presence known, but making sure Maleifcent knew she was just watching.

Diaval smiled a bit more. "Until them." He said, walking back into the shadows of the woods and to Maleficent. "She is fine; thanks to you." He told her.

"Good." She merely glanced over at Cynthia, then over to Aurora as she ran back to her house. "I trust that you had a good conversation?" She returned her gaze to Diaval, her brow raised.

Diaval coughed awkwardly. "Oh, um, yes...." He said. He was blushing slightly. He looked down. "She is curious about the magical realm. Fascinated by it apparently." He commented.
