Aurora pouted at the crow. No fun. But perhaps he was only looking out for her. Who knew? "Fine, pretty bird. Have it your way." She would look at the wall some other time, no need to worry him. Suddenly, she head a branch snap only a few yards away. The girl's head snapped up and her eyes took in an armored clad soldier peering down at her. "Hey little girl. What are you doing in the woods alone?" The smile he gave her sent chills down her spine. She back away slowly as he took a few steps closer.

Diaval/Current Form: Raven
Diaval went into protective mode. He flew up and started trying to peck the mans face. He needed to protect Aurora. Maleficent wanted her alive. So he would keep her so. 'I wish I was in human form.' He thought.

Aurora

Aurora watched in horror as the bird attacked the soldier. He swatted at the crow roughly, falling back on his butt. She jolted into action, running quickly away from the fallen soldier. "Get back here girl!" She heard him shout after her but she ran faster. She hoped the crow was okay, but she didn't want to get caught by that man.

Maleficent

She was watching over the whole thing. And as always, she didn't let it go to far. In an instant, she had turned Diaval into lion. "Why does the kingdom always have to ruin things?" She muttered under her breath. She let Diaval handle the one soldier, while she blasted away any others that came to investigate.

Diaval/Current Form: Lion
Diaval roared and swiped at the soldier, sending him flying. He would have smirked if he could. That will teach him.

Aurora

Aurora ran as fast as she could through the woods. Her dress ripped and branches stuck her bare skin. She winced in pain but continued to run as fast as she could. She foot caught in a hole and she fell sprawled on her face. Her golden ringlets surrounded her like a halo as she attempted to get up from her position on the ground. In the nearby distance, she heard a roar-like sound. That couldn't be. What kind of creature could make that sound? She got off the ground and went to run, but her ankle throbbed in pain. She limped, aiming to get to her house as quickly as she could.

Maleficent

She waited until all of the soldiers had gone, and then turned Diaval back into raven so he could get past the thorns. Once he had reached her, she turned him back into a man. "We'll make sure she get's to the three fairies alive... And then we'll see what we can do." She made an opening in the thorns, big enough so she and Diaval could get through. She wasn't worried about getting caught, for the soldiers were distracted with other things. She walked along the edge of the wall, towards Aurora's cottage.

Diaval/Current Form: Human
Diaval walked along side Maleficent. He saw Aurora on the ground ahead and instantly knew what was wrong. "She is hurt." He said, looking at Maleficent. "Let me go talk to her. To see just how bad it is."

Maleficent

"Alright, then. Be quick." She watched from behind a tree as he left to speak to Aurora. She was interested to see how she would react as Diaval approached her. "Don't scare her. She's never seen you as a human."
