Maleficent Role Play

Maleficent

She looked towards the wall of thorns. "I've seen them trying to burn the wall down. I don't why the old fool hasn't given up yet." She smirked, looking past the thorns. She could see their camp in front of them, and it looked as if they we about to attempt to break through again.

Diaval/Current Form: Human
Diaval looked at her. "He is determined to prove you wrong; the prove the curse will not work. I do not believe he fully understands your true power." Diaval said. He brushed a bit of dirt off his sleeve that he had picked up when landing.

Maleficent

"He knows of my true power." She glanced in the direction of the castle, then back at the camp. "He's just afraid of it. Just like King Henry." She whirled around and began walking in the opposite direction, turning Diaval back into his bird form as she walked past. "Come, Diaval. I believe I'm going to have to teach another lesson today." She turned towards the wall of thorns, where the camp of humans was set up.

Diaval/Current Form: Raven
Diaval, being who he is, followed without a question. He flew in the air just above her. He didn't make a sound. As he was up there, he scanned to see where the most damage was to the wall so he could point it out.

Maleficent

As she got closer to the wall, Maleficent looked up at Diaval, waiting for him to find the right spot. She stopped when she was only a few feet away from the thorns and waited, leaning her staff on a nearby tree. She wouldn't need it for what was coming next.

Diaval/Current Form: Raven
Diaval soon found the spot. He landed again next to Maleficent, waiting. The fire from the men's catapults make his feathers look slightly red, though not much because of the utter blackness of them.

Maleficent

She raised up both hands, and immediately a green fire erupted around her fingers. The damaged part of the wall of thorns grew back, thicker and sharper than it ever was. She chose the longest branch, and it rose from where it was planted, like a snake about to strike. And it did strike. She could hear the frightened yells of the men behind the wall as the branch swept through, destroying their catapults an sending the men flying in the opposite direction.

Diaval sat and listened. The screams and tells echoed in his ear slits. While he did not fancy others in pain, he must do as she said. Maleficent was not just a friend; she was his master. And he must serve her.

Maleficent

She lowered the branch of thorns back into it's original position, and the yells on the other side eventually faded into stern commands from the Captain to start cleaning up he mess. Maleficent put out the flames that were still burning the wall, mended the damaged part, and walked away. "Now they'll return to their king, once again. With no good news."

Diaval/Current Form: Raven
Diaval crowded and followed her. He knew she could not understand him in his crow form, but it was the principal. He flew along low beside her.
