Subaku looked up and raised an eyebrow at the fake smile. Did she like this weirdo? Not that Subaku didn't like Shikamaru-- he was nice, he just seemed very... out of it. "Hi. The name's Subaku. I'm guessing you're a friend of his?" She pointed a finger at the lazy teen.

Kori nodded, noting that Subaku could tell her smile was fake, and she dropped it. "Yup," She said, popping the 'p'. Kori looked at Subaku with curiosity, noticing the traces of sadness in her eyes and body language, a type of mourning most likely, however she didn't say anything. Kori sighed, fingering the ANBU mask she had attached to her right thigh through her pant loop. "I just came for some advice, Hokage-sama put me on a genin squad and I'm not sure as to why." Kori told them, a look of brief irritation passing over her eyes before it was gone.

Her brows furrowed in confusion. "You're an ANBU yet they assigned you to Genin team? That is odd." Sighing, she stood up and stretched lazily. "Whelp. If our Sensei doesn't have anything major planned, I'm going to the training grounds by the river. Send someone if you need me."

With that, Subaku walked off. She had been wanting to try out this new technique she had been perfecting recently--it was really cool, and as far as she was concerned, she was the only one who could use it, albeit not for long periods of time. She was saving the surprise for the Chunin Exams.

Shadow Hyūga-Uchiha - 19- female - Hizu, Koru, Jyra, Leon

The ex-ANBU female wandered about the town a bit. She had gotten her shopping done and even walked home. Ususally she would go on a quick mission, but this time she didn't have time until she was to meet with her team and tell them about the upcoming Chūnin exams. She knew her students were capable of making it to the final round. She just wondered if they would be able to pass the first part of it. Their teamwork still needed help. Koru, Hizu and Jyra all worked well together as three. Koru and Jyra were almost a full blown ANBU if they were one person. Hizu, Jyra, and Leon worked well. Hizu and Koru were a good team but they couldn't work together as a team of four. She sighed and headed off towards the Sarutobi residence, were all four were at the moment.

Koru sighed at the two and Folded his arms across his chest and looked at Jyra. They were both worn out from the training

Jyra Inuzuka - 13 - female - Koru, Hizu, Leon

Jyra kept running her hand over the pups soft fur. The back of her neck was now warm due to her friends warmth. She just stared blankly at the post behind Leon. She wasn't really wake yet still, which sort of explained her lack of trying while fighting. She was gonna go get some food with Koru later today and talk about whatever Shadow was going to tell them today. She was just hoping to not run into Subaku. That girl always tried to pick a fight with Koru.

Hizu Sarutobi - 13- male - Koru, Jyra, Leon

Hizu sighed and relaxed a bit. He noticed how bored Koru looked and just shook his head. This team would never be able to work together. He looked back to Leon. "You think Shadow is gonna give us a new mission today or just talk?" he asked mostly to his longtime friend but left the general question open.

Shadow Hyūga-Uchiha - 19- female - Hizu, Koru, Jyra, Leon

Appearing next to her students she waited for them to quite down before she spoke. She never asked much from them, just for them to give her respect in turn for hers.

Placing her hands behind her head, she glared straight forward as she noticed people giving her looks of pity. Almost every adult knew her mother-- the woman was very social when she was alive. This unfortunately backfired in Subaku's face because of how many people apologized to her this time of year.

Finally making her way to a river/ clearing training area, she sat down and concentrated her chakra into her eyes. Her Kekkai Tōka was amazing, but it didn't last very long and it took up enormous amounts of chakra.

Katie stuck her tongue out at Kohaku in a childish manner once again and blushed lightly from him ruffling her hair. Although, she didn't like the fact that as he did so, he moved the bangs away from her forehead unintentionally, causing her curse mark to be just hardly visible for a split second. "Yeah, you're right. I do," she said. Nodding in agreement with him, she frowned lightly, running a possible list of locations their sensai could be at through her mind.
