Katie grinned and nodded, glancing over at Kohaku and watching him for a few moments. "Yes, we sure are great teammates. But I really do mean that. We're probably better than a lot of teammates - we just work together and know each other so perfectly, y'know?" she said. Blinking her sapphire blue eyes, her mind immediately drew a blank. How was she supposed to know where their other teammates were? She knew she had no clue. "I don't know where they'd be, either. I'm telling you, I ONLY pay attention to you!" she exclaimed.

Subaku

She sighed, walking away. She didn't quite know what to think about anyone anymore. It was all so difficult to her, so foreign a concept that she was feeling towards Koru.

Shaking her head, she decided not to think about that, and instead continued walking, her destination? Who knows. As she was walking, Subaku came upon Kohaku and Katie Katie was nice, but Kohaku was her sworn rival. Eye twitching in annoyance, she stuck her nose in the air and walked on by, hoping he'd give her a break from all his teasing today.

Misaki

Misaki Hanate had just returned from a mission, and man had it felt good to be back in Konoha! She had successfully taken down a group of thieves that had recently murdered some Sand Nin ambassadors, and let's just say... The mission was a little messy. Long story short, she was captured and had to kill a lot of random body guards they had everywhere.

'Why are my missions the ones that always go wrong?!' she thought, hanging her head dejectedly. Sighing, she walked towards the hokage's office to report her success.

Dominic let out a sigh as she sat in a tree on the outskirts of the leaf village. A black flame tattoo could be seen on the side of her neck which she had received when tatsuya was sealed in her. The raven haired girl let out a sigh as she looked up at the sky. She pulled her knees to her chest as she wrapped her arms around her knees with her chin resting ontop of her knees.

Shikamaru raised a brow as Kuro spoke of the clouds. Looking up to the clouds he replied lazily, "I guess that's a good way of looking at it." After a pause, and at hearing what she said about a cloud, he asked with a bit of an annoyed tinge to his voice, "What? Look like my hair?" To her mumbling Shikamaru relaxed and questioned boredly, "Ryuu again?"

Kuro nodded, splaying her body out like a star, "If you could go anywhere, to do anything, were would you go Shika?" She asked him, her voice laced with curiousity. She sometimes asked deep questions that just came out of no where and this was one of them.

Making his way through town, Katsu made his way to the bar. It had become habitual or him to do so after each mission, even if he didn't go there just to drink. Katsu thought of it as nothing more than an acquired habit, just as it was an acquired habit for Kakashi to read those disgusting books of his. Sometimes Katsu just wanted to take every copy in existence and start a bonfire in the middle of Konohagakure using the books. Frankly, there were most likely many women who had the same thought. Sitting down in his usual spot, Katsu waved a hand in the air to call the bartender over. The guy was pretty nice, a retired shinobi in fact. Not bad company when Katsu was in the mood to drink. Not the kind of company he would talk about his problems with, though. That was usually Iruka's job. Or Misaki's. Whichever one he felt like talking to at any given time.

Misaki

After giving her report to the hokage, he had scolded her on how she could have done her mission better. She told him that remembered there being a kid they had promised to kill if she didn't give herself up. Misaki wasn't about to let some innocent kid die just because she couldn't snipe them with needles! They wouldn't have been clean kills anyway--she was still working on her aim. Fingering her eyepatch, Misaki sighed. She didn't want to use her Kekkai Gekkai either, that would have been a waste.

Not knowing where to go, and having been told that Katsu had entered the village just before her, she sighed and walked to the bar where she knew he liked to come after missions. Spotting a familiar head of silver hair, she sat down next to him and promptly smashed her face into the bar, sulking.

Sensing Misaki's mood(despite his inability to express his own emotions well), Katsu didn't even need to look at her as he twirled the alcohol in his glass around a bit. "You really shouldn't complain about the missions you get sent on, Misaki. I face much more difficult decisions and you don't see me sulking." Then again, scratch that. Katsu wasn't very good at sensing moods at all. He usually just told people to suck it up and move on when they were in a bad mood. "So, what happened this time?"

"Okay…" she says, lifting her face from the bar to explain to him. "So they main guy I'm going to kill, he holds a poor kid up in front of his face. At the moment, I wasn't going to kill the kid, and my Kekkai Gekkai would've been a huge waste of chakra. So they put me in a sort of brig, and I picked the lock, and killed them all. I don't understand what's so bad about that! I did my mission! Just in a sort of… round about way."

Misaki sighed, it was tough having to live up to the expectations of her ANBU parents. Nobody quite understood like Katsu though, that's probably why they were best friends.

Katsu shook his head, slightly disappointed. "Sometimes you're too kind for your own good, Misaki. If it had been me, I wouldn't have hesitated to put their shield out of commission if it meant the mission was a success. Child or not, they could end up twisted after going through something like that. After seeing that the only thing that matters is power and how you use it."
