Royce frowned some more, clearly hearing voices emanating from within the cabin. He took a few steps forward until he was practically in front of the doorway. Narrowing his eyes, he listened to the muffled voices inside as they conversed. From what he had heard, it sounded like a couple of childish, nosy little demigods poking around for boredom's sake. He made a small phhht noise before pushing the door open and staring inside. He stood silhouetted against the bright sunlight filtering in from outside, arms folded across his chest as he examined their activities nonchalantly. "Well, you could always ask one of the Hecate kids," he remarked, eyeing the liquid in the girl's arms and smirking as he quickly identified it.
Huck glanced sideways to glimpse a dark-haired boy making his way over. "Hey, there," he greeted with another friendly smile. "Are you a friend of Ariana's?" From the way he had approached them, it almost felt like they'd known each other from before. Which they very well might have. He gave the other boy a once-over, trying to discern his parentage. It wasn't too easy. With a start, Huck remembered seeing that boy around the Hermes cabin, once. So either he was a Hermes kid, or an unclaimed demigod. For his sake, he hoped it was the latter of the two; Hermes kids could be tricks-y sometimes.
Don't judge a book by its cover, he reminded himself. That was supposed to be one of his number one rules...but it was hard not to stereotype sometimes, especially in a demigod camp like this.
