Even though she don't feel like doing anything today, Ericka rounded back towards the arena. Her eyes flicked with annoyance of the sweltering heat. Her worn down converses werent taking it to lightly either. She popped her wrist, robotically moving her arm boredly as she walked. Fingers tackling with some delight of her found talent of popping joints to weirdly move her arm. Nothing special but she thought it was cool. Second guessing going to train, she headed towards the cabins. When was the last time she kicked around a soccer ball?

"Ha. Ha." He sneered playfully, plopping back down as he brought up one knee. His eyelids closed but the sun still was bright. "My tan is coming along just fine thanks for asking." His accent was a little deep, it came from his moms side. He stretched his foot out, satisfyingly hearing it crack.

Kyle snapped out a hand to grab Alex by the scruff of his shirt, very much wanting to hit him directly in the mouth for the comments he'd said earlier, but he held off so he could formulate a reply. "You have shown nobody anything," he growled. "I beat you into a pulp and everybody will see why they should fear me. You really didn't think this through. I could put you in the infirmary for a month, you little punk!"

Elliot raised her eyebrows, the corners of her lips turning up slightly as she watched him 'jam'. After he had noticed her and decided not to stop, she deciphered it was probably safe to sit down near him, crossing her legs under him as she turned her eyes on the lake- still listening but deciding not to look like a total creeper by staring at him.
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

Ashleigh
Ashleigh smiled slightly, sighing as she relaxed against her beach towel. The sea breeze balanced out the hotness of the humidity, making it perfect weather for laying out. Ashleigh was just getting along when she heard Nick's ankle crackle and pop into weird places. The girl sat up, pulling her sunglasses down to look at him. "Nick!" she exclaimed. "That was disgusting."

Icarus
Icarus finished his song, feeling happy. It was just a happy day to him. The sun was shining and, sure, it was hot as balls outside, but he was underneath the shade of a tree and he planned on going to the beach for a swim later on. "Hey," he greeted, smiling at Elliot. "What's up, buttercup?"

"Hey," Elliot replied, not particularly sure how to reply to his question. Perhaps getting a t-shirt saying "socially awkward and proud" would be something to consider in the future. Instead, she decided to refer back to his song. "So I'm guessing you didn't write that?" she asked. Of course, he could have said he had and she would have likely believed him but she didn't think that it was his.

(I apologise that my writing is probably getting worse but it's almost half three in the morning. xD)

"What was? This?" He continued to pop his foot with a chuckle, turning his head to look at Asheligh. He was doing it just to annoy her. It seemed to be working. The sounds of lapping waves relaxed him as he was laying down. Grinning mischievously.

Finally retrieving her navy, silver and white Addidas ball. She rolled it under her foot, before kicking it up into air, bringing it back down onto her knee. It shot upwards again, she balanced it on her pointed foot. Leg trembled as she launched it higher into the air. Spinning around to kick the athletic purposed sphere over her head, letting it bounce away before chasing after with a small smile of enjoyment.

[nah it's cool gurl]
Icarus
Icarus's eyes widened. How could she not know that song? Given, it was from the 90's and all, but it was amazing. "No, I didn't write it," he answered with a vague smirk. "It's by Sumblime. I'm guessing you never heard of them." He gave Elliot a small little half smile and laughed, shaking his head. "One day, I'll update you on some good music. I think you need it."

Ashleigh
Ashleigh picked up a small handful of sand and threw it at Nick's lower leg, smothering a smile as she acted annoyed. "Yes, that!" she said. "It's gross!" Ashleigh covered her ears, waiting for him to stop, but he didn't. Ashleigh narrowed her brown eyes into a glare. "If you don't stop I will hog tie you and wax your legs." But as hard as the girl had tried to keep a straight face, she couldn't. Ashleigh started laughing.

Elliot shrugged. "You'll need to update me on a lot of it, then, because I literally cannot think of a single musician slash band that I know, except you and some other Apollo kids. Oh, and there was this one dead guy when I was staying with my dad. Um... Elvis? Yeah, he used to have concerts over in Elysium."

His brown eyes grew large with fear, lowering his foot immediately. "Oh please dont!" He chuckled nervously, shaking his head rapidly. Scooping sand up in his palm and tossing it at her head. A smile breaking onto his face now. "Oops!"

Icarus
Icarus laughed. He wondered just how long ago she had gone to live with her dad, but figured the fact that she didn't even know who Elvis was was a big indicator. "Elvis was big a long time ago," he told her. "I mean, that's cool that you got to see him in concert." He smiled, looked out across he pond as a gentle breeze blew to them. "You don't seem like too much of a music junkie to me, anyway," he said with a lighthearted shrug.

Ashleigh
Ashleigh's laughter was stopped abruptly as the sand hit her hair. Something murderous flashed across her gaze and before she knew it, her fists were balled up in anger. "Nicholas, I told you I just got a Brazilian!" she said, raising her voice. "You are such a pest..." Ashleigh growled and mumbled profanities under her breath as she tried to shake the majority of the sand from her hair.

Elliot glanced at him and tilted her head slightly. "And how did you figure that?" she asked sarcastically, chuckling softly under her breath. Then her eyes turned back to the water. "I'm not much of an anything," she added. "Not up here anyway. But it isn't long until I can finally go back to dueling with Achilles and annoying Charon."
