The Hades daughter raised an eyebrow as he called an inanimate object his 'baby'. "Not much," Elliot replied with a shrug. "I guess I'm just bored and, when I saw you here, I decided I should probably apologise for leaving so abruptly earlier."
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

TekkamanSoul wrote:"My dad brought me here. He said that both he and my mom had agreed that I should come here when I was old enough. He said I'd be safe here." Well, that much was proving to be false. He lived in a veritable den of thieves and troublemakers, he'd recently had a screw dropped on him, and there were a lot of powerful demigods that could seriously hurt him if they lost control of their powers for just one second. That didn't seem too safe to Alex. "How about you? How'd you end up here?"

Lyra stopped what she was doing and looked down at her feet,"My mom brought me here after I accidentaly burned down my school when I was 5 and one day I went and found our house on fire....".Lyra glanced up,"Let's just say...I never got to say goodbye,I've lived here since".

Ashleigh
Ashleigh nodded. "Sure," she agreed. She flashed a grin and waved before turning on her heel, going off to go mess around.

Icarus
Icarus nodded. "Nah, it wasn't a problem," he said. "But thanks anyways." He understood that Elliot was probably incredibly frustrated with him, and he probably would have left if he was her. "So did you find Azazel?" he asked. "I saw him sniffing around the mess hall earlier."

"Yeah, I found him. He's sleeping at the Hades cabin right now," Elliot said. "So he shouldn't be awake for a few hours at least. I mean, I love him and all, but he can be a really big burden at times, especially because he's still growing. I've seen some of the older hellhounds in my father's realm and they can get rather huge. I don't know how I'm going to handle him when he gets to that size."

{all has been avenged. you have all been saved from a rabid chipmunk}

Chase
Chase smiled slightly, watching Ericka examine her surroundings. It always excited him when someone else was willing to try what he could do. Dipping his mind into his surroundings, Chase sensed multiple creatures around them. A small school of fish scooted through the water above his head, and fish of all colors and sizes were darting in and out of small crevices and nooks in the rocks below him. Seaweed waved in the current, like grass in the wind, and Chase could see bottom dwellers scurrying among the fields of seagrass. Hidden among the rocks and grass was a large sea turtle. Gently pushing against its mind with his, he could communicate clearly with the animal. Not in speech or words, but more in feelings and motions, like imagining a piece of food between them instead of asking if it was hungry. Swimming down, he laid a hand on the turtle's back, asking it to get up. With a slow flap of his flippers, the turtle rose gracefully in a slow, fluid motion. Resting both hands on its back now, Chase gripped the edge of the shell, sending thoughts of calm friendliness towards the animal. Using a bit of his own ability, Chase propelled them through the water slowly, letting the turtle catch his current and bring him along.

Icarus
Icarus thought for a while. If Azazel was small for a hellhound, then what was big? "I'm sure he'll calm down a bit when he get older," he said. "When I lived with my mom, she got a puppy and he chewed up everything. Once he was older, he quit being such a spazzing all the time. Maybe it's the same."

T H E B A S I C S
Name: Ericka
Age: 15
Godly Parent: Zeus

As Ericka watched, she waded towards the rocks. Curiously reaching a hand to touch the seaweed. Her smile grew bigger, watching as a few seahorses pranced around her. She twisted as she surveyed them, one slipping between her index finger and thumb. It's skin rough yet soft altogether. The teenager was laughing alittle, her eyes smiling. The tip of her toe was resting atop of the rock, as she reach upwards. Quite fascinated with the seahorses dancing around her. The azure colored water illuminated even more by the sun.

Elliot nodded. "I suppose he might but he's not exactly a normal puppy, you know? Unless a normal puppy can travel between the living world and the underworld and can easily tear a grown man's head from his shoulders with one bite." Then she shrugged and shifted a little. "But, I can't exactly do anything except try and stop him killing the other campers and the satyrs and not for their sake, for his. He kills a camper then there'll be dozens more to hunt him down."

Alex looked away from Lyra, not able to understand what it must have been like to be her. Yet at the same time, he wished he did. "At least you've known what you are for a while now. You didn't have the world you knew shatter after 13 years of being accustomed to being relatively normal. I think you're lucky to have grown up with so many demigods."
Please help my dragons grow so that they might live.

Chase
After a minute of riding with the turtle, Chase slowly turned it so that it was headed back towards Ericka. He pressed his palms against the ridge of the shell, continuing to communicate with the turtle through emotion. As he neared Ericka, he saw dozens of tiny seahorses all around her. Giving a quick smile, he returned his attention to the turtle, gently slowing it down. As he slid his hands off the shell, the turtle swam around to face him, nudging him with it's head. Chase laughed and put his hand under the turtles head, scratching his scaly skin. Noticing a small scar on one of the animal's front flippers, he reached out with his other hand and hovered it over the injured portion. It was recent, and was still puffy from swelling. Using a small ounce of concentration, he quickly had the cut quickly began to heal, the puffiness returning to normal. The result was a blemish less flipper, and a lot less pain. The turtle flapped it experimentally, then excitedly began swimming around Chase, sending him small blips of happiness and thankfulness.
