Jabberwock wrote:Elliot laughed as she watched the boy get annoyed, beginning to walk towards them. It was smart that he obviously decided against confrontion and turned to walk away. "One of the perks of being a daughter of the Underworld," she told Icarus, turning to smile at him.

Icarus
Icarus smiled and shook his head. "You're psycho," he told her, chuckling. He was glad that the kid had been a good sport or else there would have been feelings hurt and that wouldn't have been a good thing.

Ashleigh
[k den c: you can choose either or both I don't care]
After lunch, Ashleigh was extremely bored. With her lack of friends, the girl found herself wandering aimlessly or spending hours on end in the stables with Daisy. She had had a good day, however, since she had met Brant. Just thinking of him sent a smile to her face, mainly because it humored her to reminisce over what had happened.

"No, I'm not," Elliot shot back defensively, uncaring whether he was joking or not. She stood abruptly. "I don't care if you're not serious, don't call me that." The smirk she had wore mere moments before was wiped from her face completely, back to the still, eerie calmness that it usually held.
`Twas brillig,
and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"Beware the Jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!
Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious Bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpal sword in hand:
Long time the manxome foe he sought --
So rested he by the Tumtum tree,
And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,
The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,
Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,
And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through
The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!
He left it dead, and with its head
He went galumphing back.

"And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!"
He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves
Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;
All mimsy were the borogoves,
And the mome raths outgrabe.

{I just spent an hour considering the word "exited." I just wrote it and then looked at it, and then looked funny, and then I spent a while just pondering it. Now it looks weird. Now I'm really frustrated because it's everywhere and the weirdness is everywhere. It is like the word mosey. That is a weird word. How in the world do you 'mosey' Ah, yessss, Voldemort moseyed down to have a quick heart to heart with Harry. No.}

{anyways ... chase is open}

Chase
Chase continued walking towards the edge of the forest, until he was past the first few trees. He quickly found an animal path and wound through the outskirts of the forest, the shade keeping the worst of the heat off of his face. Soon, he reached an outlet, and the sun was back in his eyes. Eyeing the overhangs of the stables jealously, Chase decided to cool off in the shade they offered, and began wandering in that direction.

[[Thats... Interesting. Exited. I always wondered if it was spelled 'exitted' instead of 'exited'. ]]

T H E B A S I C S
Name: Brant
Age: 15
Godly Parent: Athena

The familiar figure of Asheligh, was spotted in Brants view, as he dropped his 'argument' with Zoey and had moved towards Ash. His eyes flickering left and right. He neared the daughter of the goddess of beauty, a smiling breaking onto his face, "Hey there!" He called, and waved a hand.

T H E B A S I C S
Name: Ericka
Age: 15
Godly Parent: Zeus

Ericka's miniature atom was dulling, and she flicked it towards the trees with a bored look. Closing her eyes as she concentrated on her surroundings. Vividly, she thought back to Devon, another son of Hades. Remembering his advice. She had taken a deep breath, allowing a most of clouds to surround her. Thunder rolling from the dark colored evaporated water, and she allowed a grin to slip.

[no, you do not use mosey in that sentence
I hate to tell you hun but voldemort doesn't have a heart]

Icarus
Icarus simply looked back at Elliot, honestly not surprised at her abrupt change of mood. He shrugged, knowing it wasn't worth getting angry over. "Sure thing," he told her with the slightest of smiles.

Ashleigh
Ashleigh was actually sort of surprised to see Brant, but happy nevertheless. "Bonjour!" she greeted cheerfully. When she got especially excited or happy, she accidentally broke out into French. "What's up?" she asked, focusing on English.

"Just floating around like a loner.." Brant said, with a fake frown, that upturned into a grin. "Whataya been up to?" He said, glancing back at Zoey with a shrug. He lightly punched Ashleigh in the shoulder in greeting. Chuckling a little bit as he stepped out of her hitting range.

Elliot tilted her head a little, confused at his lack of concern over her outburst. This wasn't a reaction she had ever faced. People would usually blow up back at her or at least look a little frightened. "You are really strange, you know that?"

Ashleigh
Ashleigh made an expression of mock disbelief. "Really? Me too!" she exclaimed, laughing. She rubbed her shoulder where it had been hit, since it was a bit sore from earlier that day. A small burst of giggles came over her as he cowered away, out of her arm's reach. "Don't worry, I won't hit you again unless you deserve it," she assured him with a roll of her eyes. Then, an idea struck her. "Hey, do you wanna go for a ride with me?" she asked. "There's an older horse I think you'd like."

Icarus
Icarus grinned lazily, nodding slowly. "That's new, but I'll take it," he said. He was pretty sure that she had expected to start an argument, or even wanted to intimidate him, but she hadn't succeeded in the least. "You'll have to try a bit harder, sweetheart," he explained, smirking innocently.

Elliot frowned, studying his expression. "You really aren't the least bit intimidated by me, are you? Even after a demonstration of my powers? You're the first person I've met that is completely calm around me. Why is that?"

"Of course!" Brant perked at the idea, with a grin. "Yeah yeah.. I don't I think I deserved it that time either." He said, smirking. And allowed Asheligh to lead the way to the stables. Crossin his arm sort his barely muscled chest. [[WB >~<]]
