Talents In the Dark [Fantasy/ Human RP]

Selene frowned when Ford hid himself, but she could still smell where he was. She closed her eyes and then drew in a deep breath, her ears straining to catch the sound of Ford's movement. Selene heard the floorboards creak for a moment, and then everything fell silent. She scowled and then sniffed at the air, trying to determine where Ford was. Selene opened her eyes slowly and then looked around the room, unable to detect Ford's presence.

[Smexy Beast]

Ford snapped out of his camouflaged form, and jumped next to Selene, gripping her around the waist as he landed. He slipped his way behind her, and began tickling her again, this time across the stomach. His only intention was to provoke a reaction out of her, and was doing it even more intensely than he had been before.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Selene gasped and then kicked at Ford, hitting him squarely on the leg. She narrowed her eyes at Ford and then chuckled, even though she wasn't enjoying the tickling. Selene pushed Ford's hands away and then kicked him again, but this time it was much more of a playful kick then one meant to fend him off. She smiled and then turned and ran down the hallway, trying to find somewhere to hide. Selene ran into her parents room and then shifted to her wolf form, running towards the bed. She dropped down onto her stomach and then crawled under the bed, her back brushing up against the hard wooden frame of the bed. Selene quickly concealed herself under the bed, curling up into a tight ball and hunkering down, wondering if Ford would be able to see her.

Ford chuckled at Selene's reactions, despite the small amount of pain he had sustained. When Selene ran off, he began to follow her a few seconds later. He ended up in another bedroom, slightly larger than the one they had slept in the night before. He looked around the room as he passed through the doorframe, looking at every obstacle Selene could have used to hide herself. But the bed seemed to small for her to fit under, and the only other place she could have gone to was the closet, which was fully illuminated. He scratched his head as he began to wander through the room, puzzled as to what might have happened to Selene.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Selene's ears flared up when she heard Ford enter the room, catching the sound of his footsteps. She closed her eyes tightly and bit down onto her tail, a chuckle threatening to break loose. Selene dug her large claws into the floorboards, making a loud scratching noise that could easily be heard around the room. Her muscles tensed and then she slowly released her tail, which began to snake out from under the bed. Selene's tail wagged back and forth, as if it had a mind of its own, flickering in and out from under the bed.

[Smexy Beast]

The floorboards emitted a sharp sound, which was definetely independent of Ford. He began to look around, and saw Selene's tail hanging out from under the bed. It looked like he was wrong about her size. Ford eased down to his knees, trying not to make a sound, and began hovering his hands over Selene's wagging tail, before darting his hands out to grab the knot of fur.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Selene yelped and then twirled her head around, baring her large teeth at Ford. She growled under her breath, her ears pressed back in a threatening manor, and then her black fur bristled up. There had been a lot of teasing and taunting in the past, but Selene's growl wasn't one of playful happiness... Her growl was a threat and a warning; her teeth were on full display and her growl was growing louder. Selene's eyes softened and then her growl slowly died into silence, feeling guilty for snapping at Ford. She whimpered and then covered her eyes with her two large paws, a raging depression and sadness taking over the girl.

Ford was a bit taken back by Selene's reaction. After a moment, he realized it was probably well deserved, and she didn't deserve to be sulking the way she was. Once they had both calmed down a bit, he began stroking her back underneath the bed, and said, "I'm sorry Selene, that was probably a stupid thing for me to have done," hoping it'd make her feel a bit better.

[Jump.Jump.Fall.]

Selene whimpered loudly and then shrunk away from Ford's hand, crawling out of his reach. She laid down against the wall and then shifted to her human form, finding that she would have more space to move that way. Selene laid her side down against the floorboards and then wrapped her arms around her legs, pulling her knees up to her chest. She turned her head and looked out from under the bed, her gaze landing on Ford. "I almost bit you..." Selene said quietly, her voice sad and shaken. She whimpered and then her tail tucked up between her legs, the guilty feeling inside her was growing stronger by the second.

Feeling Selene's thick coat turn into skin let him realize she had just shifted again. "Yeah, but I should've known better," he said, still caressing her back. He laid down awkwardly against the bed so he could fully catch his breath, without having to let go of Selene's warm flesh.
