"your stalling ~" he taunted with a dark grin. "... if you make me 'wait' any longer, i'll just have to get out from under you again and pin you down with your face in the dirt ... i'm not one to beg or plead for my life in this body." he smirked darkly, flickering slightly like static on a television screen.

"Well this isn't very fun then." He said with a pout, eye twitching as he released him. The British man straightened up, cracking his knuckles. Those memories were now fresh in his mind again. He was hugging himself, crying without realizing it. A smile still traced his face. He had truly lost his sanity.

"maybe if you paid more attention, then you'd learn a few things ..." the boy replied in a low, dark murmur. He soon sat up and dusted off his shoulders, soon after standing himself up. He gestured for the man to follow, now continuing to head toward where he sensed Elizabeth.

He didn't think as he stumbled after him, lowering his gaze down to his feet. He watched his own tears hit his shoes as he numbly walked. His craziness would eventually give away to numbness. Which seemed to be happening as the depression set in. He couldn't stop the tears as his smile faded completely.

Alfred smiled a bit weakly at her words, his boots stomping up the stairs quickly, opening the hatch with a loud groaning 'creeeak'. "Yes, anything to save them," the blonde repeated softly as he stepped up from downstairs, closing the hatch quietly before creeping to the windows. All he could see was trees swaying in the gusts of wind, the forests covered in a blanket of shade. Alfred felt a frown develop onto his lips as more worries overcame him, knocking open the log cabin's door and taking a fast walk into the forests. The man hugged Elizabeth close to his chest as he walked, shoulders tense as if he expected something to jump out at them any moment. His wide eyes looked near and far to find he and Elizabeth's beloved green eyed brit and light blonde Canadian. Alfred took long powerful strides, lifting his chin to look just like the hero he was. "Do you see your daddy Artie or Matty anywhere Lizzy...?" He asked the girl as his eyes darted around the greenery of the woods. But then he saw the van they had all arrived in, just a few yards away. Greasy burgers piled through the sliding doors, ketchup and pickles smeared into the ground as if someone was dragged away. "Oh no... no..." Alfred gulped as he saw the ripped seat belt, fear for Arthur coursing through him. Konoha... or Kuroha was no where in sight, nor was the big browed man they wished to see. He shouldn't have left Arthur in that van, he shouldn't have assumed that he would run right after them, he shouldn't have trusted Konoha in the first place. The American hugged Elizabeth tightly, turning away from the van so the little girl wouldn't have to look again herself. "I know he's out there somewhere Elizabeth, we'll find your daddy." Alfred felt his voice crack, soon seeing two figures emerge from the forest. One looked to be Konoha, but exactly how they had seen him when he was seated in the front seat of the van, cackling darkly. And behind him was their beloved Arthur, tears pouring down his face. "Arthur!" The American yelled loudly as they approached, his own eyes watering with hot tears at the horrible sight, not even thinking as he ran towards the brit, holding Elizabeth away from the leering Konoha.

Kuroha gazed over to the two and watched as they made their way to Arthur ... once they passed him, a dark grin grew on his face, one that Elizabeth caught a glimpse of before looking to her saddened father. "P-Papa! what's wrong? a-are you hurt?!" the girl squeaked out, tear's already welling up in her eyes as she looked to the Englishmen.

The British man heard footsteps pounding toward him. He didn't react. He heard the voices talking to him. He ignored him. He remained silent, staring blankly at the ground, a few tears still wetting his cheeks. He looked so very dull, as if he wasn't exactly there, so-to-speak. Though he suddenly lurched out a hand to smack them both away. It was hard to tell with his lowered head but he was chewing on his lip, drawing blood and not seeming to care the slightest.

As they ran up the small hill Alfred noticed how Arthur barley even payed much mind to them. This is all my fault! Alfred bit down on his lip as his sad blue eyes looked to the Englishman who looked so lost. Just as he was going to let Elizabeth down to greet her father, he saw a hand try to smack them both away. "A-arthur?" The American felt his own voice break at the sight of the usually proud and bold Englishman's head down and sulking, small droplets of blood leaving his face and falling on the ground. Did Konoha- Kuraha do this? Did he put a spell on Arthur? "What did you do!" The blonde yelled to the man, anger spilling from every word. "What did you do to Arthur! Who are you, and why are you doing this to him!" Alfred demanded answers, clutching Elizabeth close to him as he stood by the Englishman who stared at the ground. The blonde stared down his dark grin as he demanded answers. "Were you a 2p all along Konoha?"

"k-ko...noha?" Elizabeth asked toward Alfred, then looked at kuroha, eyes wide as a very breif, but small memory of konoha flashed inplace of kuroha. "... No ... No daddy said ... Daddy said he wasn't real." She sniffled, begining to cry more now. The darker form flinched at the girl's recolection, growling lowly. "Oh don't you worry ... All I did was make him remember a few things about you that he had forgotten ... The opposite of what he did to Elizabeth when she was just a little girl - making her forget!" He snapped at Alfred when speaking of the last part. "But you ..." He then looked to Elizabeth. "You just had to listen to him ... You wanted to be daddy's precious obediant daughter ... So you gave up a lot of the things that made you happy ... And you gave up your first creation, just to make your father smile." He growled lowly, teeth clenched now. "You forgot me ... You forgot me and all the things we did ..." His eyes were shadowed now, hands balled into fists. "You just had to forget!" He snapped. He then seemed pained about something, as if almost stabbed - staggering back a few steps. "But ... Just now... You ... You remembered me..." He murmured, his voice now softer and calmer, almost a little happy, as he held his gut, head down. "Elizabeth ... I'm ... Sorry" he said weakly, a few strands of his hair going white, though most his appearance stayed the same.

The Englishman flinched at Alfreds voice. His thoughts immediately shot to a certain war. That's where he knew that voice from. He seemed to have tuned everyone out. He heard voices but couldn't make out words. He couldn't concentrate. He couldn't - he couldn't do this! Images flashed before his eyes. He mumbled something under his breath, gulping, clinging to himself. He started to dig his nails into his forearm. He couldn't take this! "M-Make it stop." He said breathlessly, hands moving to clutch his head.
