He picked up a large weight and started throwing it around, bored after awhile, none of them were heavy enough for his taste so he moved on to other things, catching sight of Cinder here and there, she was still the only person he knew so far.

I headed over to the archery section, knowing I was decent at it. I slid my hand over the bow, picked it up and grabbed a quiver of arrows. Picking one up, I nocked it in my bow and took aim. I released the string, letting the arrow soar through the air. It stuck in the target with a this in one ring from the center.

"Wow." Was all Nyx said. She bit her bottom lip and glanced at the ground. I don't want to meet her in the games. she thought. She sighed softly and went for another knife. She chose a long, slim blade with a small handle. She rolled it around in her hands, getting the feel of it before walking back to the dummies. She took a deep breath before trying to hit the target again. She cursed under her breath when she missed the center. She hit closer than last time, but still not the right spot. It made her look weak.

Hallie nodded.
"Yeah, I'm going over to knives to practice my aim. We could practice together." Hallie took a step and motioned with her hand for Evee to follow.
"Hey, Stephanie, maybe I'll catch up with you later." She turned and walked off, not waiting for her to answer.
There was a girl over by the knives (Nyx), examinating each one carefully. Hallie walked up to her, and saw the undecisivness on her face.
"You should try that one. It's sturdy and sharp." Hallie pointed to a knife that was stainless steel, a smooth, cool blade and a black, long handle. It was light it weight, excellent for far off range throwing. The perfect weapon.

Evee followed, she just watched as she wasn't really in the mood to meet people at the moment.

Hallie watched as Nyx threw the knife, seeing how she was slightly off-balance.
"You have to keep your feet planted firmly." She showed Nyx her stance. Hallie handed Nyx a smaller knife, and structured her on her footing.
"Now...throw it."

Evee looked at Hallie, she's helping? I guess everyone has to stand a chance in The Games...

Hallie glanced back and saw Evee, and shot her a smile.
"Where did you want to train?"
