Wings of Freedom
Humanity is in terrible danger. For over 100 years, humans lived inside the walls, protected from the Titans. The Titans, giant humanoid creatures who's exact nature and functions are unknown. The military, made up of three branches, is intended to combat these creatures and protect the people.
But when the citizens needed them most, the military failed. Having become sedentary and unprepared for a breech in the walls, The Garrison floundered and unfortunately many people suffered and died.
A few were able to escape inside of Wall Maria and made their way to Wall Rose. Still unable to combat the Titans with outdated weapons and untrained troops, the Titans breeched Wall Maria and more people were killed.
Many people were affected that day.
Some turned to the only viable source for survival. Some took their chances.
Shortly after, untrained groups of citizens were sent into Wall Maria. The premise was to retake the area, but it became very evident that it was a ploy to lower theft number of refugee mouths to feed.
