Bistre Irok

Bistre sighed, brown eyes scanning the terrain below as they flew. Before too incredibly long, she spotted an anomaly in the ground beneath them; a patch of wet, wooded area. A bog? "Arkae," she called softly, jerking her head at the swamp. "Do you think it's worth investigating?" After all...it was dangerously close to the Southern border.

Azrael Stygian

Azrael stumbled back slightly at the pang of ice cold frost, but he quickly recovered and extended his claws again, going for another cutting attack to the boy.

Nico laughed a bit at that nickname...Snicky Nicky. He would have to come up with a suitable comeback for that. "I don't know, Kwemon Tart...what do you usually do in your free time?" Kwemon Tart? Eh, I tried...

Kennedy smiled actually glad August couldn't go on ahead. "No, I can't either, so I guess we'll just be walking then..." She went on silently for a while, munching on a cookie looking straight ahead. not being able to take the silence she turned her head to August. "So, why?"
(BTW, I'm going to have them get to the bog soon, since they... I don't know, they're just gonna get there quicker!!!)

Arkae nodded, kicking Kaelik's haunches softly so she began a slow descent. "Better to check it out now than regret it later."

Will
Will tried his best to defend himself from the attack, but Azreal managed to cut a large gash through his coat across his chest. Will fell back into the mud, hitting his head on a rock and felt himself falling unconscious.

Nico laughed jokingly. "What? I'll have you know that my nicknames are astounding," he lied innocently. He ran his fingers through his blond hair and looked at her. "Reading...that's interesting. What do you like to read?" he asked - he wasn't much of an avid reader himself, but every once in a while he'd smuggle an adventure novel out of the town library.

August cocked his head to the side, looking the slightest bit perplexed. "Why what?" he inquired, wanting a bit of clarification.

Azrael Stygian

Azrael smirked, about to announce their victory when something from out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. He shot his gaze upwards and snarled. Dragons. His form blurred until he was an indistinguishable blot of darkness slipping into the shadows nearby. If these intruders posed any threat at all, he and Aracknae could have the element of surprise on their side.

Bistre dipped her head in consent, diving after Arkae and alighting on the ground gracefully. She slid off of Scolex with ease and looked around, only to see a dark form flicker across her vision for a moment. "...What was that?" she asked, scanning the area cautiously.
