Gray stood on the damp pavement and got ready to play. There was Team Canada and Team Mexico. He was Canada, of course.

Kyo was pretty much following Grey- you can't blame her- cats usually accompany people to most places.

Gray paused and looked at Kyo staring at him curiously. There was no way she could be more of a cat, he thought as the coach said go.

Kyo looked at the coach then at the ball as it was hit to multiple different places, her eyes fixated on the ball.

Gray hit the ball whenever it came to him. It hurt, but it wasn't as bad as it could be. Sadly, he was the best server on Team Canada, so they gave it to him every time.

By that time, Kyo figured that there was no way someone would pass to a cat so she sat down and watched.

It was Team Mexico's turn to serve-- and the ball went to the meanest girl there. The person behind Gray muttered something about her and, in a moment of not thinking, he turned around to face them right before the ball slammed into his back.

Kyo jumped then ran over to Grey.
