Re: Attack On Titan: Humanities Fight for Hope(O/A)

Postby pidgey » Wed Apr 23, 2014 3:55 pm

Username: Princess Bubblegum. But feel free to call me PB or Hollyn ;3

Character Name: His full name is Leander Marcellus Wyse, Leander being a name that his mother liked and Marcellus being a name he shares with his father. He likes to go by Leander, though occasionally, to his annoyance, his little sister would call him Lee.

Age: He is 17 years of age.

    Gender: Male. Dur.

Pic/Description: He's not body-builder buff, not a beanpole either. He's really average for a seventeen-year-old in the scouting legion. He has a steely grey eye color that doesn't vary all too much than just the grey. Leander has very dark colored brown hair, though the hair that's on the top of his head, versus the hair lower on his hair, is slightly lighter from being in the sun. He's got wildly wavy hair, almost enough to be considered curly. It's about neck length from behind, and he has jagged bangs that he cut himself, hanging in his face. Despite being out in the sun, Leander is still fairly pale. He can't tan very well and usually winds up sunburnt if he isn't inside or in the woods where light hardly reaches.[[I will add a picture a tad later]]

Job: He joined the Scouting Legion probably because he's really bitter and has morbid tendencies.

Personality: Leander is unsociable and a gloomy character in general, not to mention slightly shady. It's not impossible to talk to him, it's simply difficult to keep a conversation going with him when all he does is grunts or gives one word answers. He has a lazy and lethargic personality and is also in a grouchy slump when not well-rested. Leander has a tendency to create awkward situations between himself and other people. For example, he might say something too personal or stare at another for a long period of time. It is pretty uncommon to be able to elicit much of a reaction from him, but it has been done. Leander is only human, however, so emotions are there. They're just well hidden under his calm, reclusive facade. Despite how he lingers off in the corner alone a majority of the time, he is lonely but he just won't admit it. He isn't afraid of breaking rules and quite frankly, doesn't give a crap about most others. Leander's glass is always half-empty and he believes that it's healthier to keep a negative outlook on life since the good die young.

History: At the time of Leander's birth, his parents had only just gotten married about five months prior. They were both young parents, only aged about twenty years each. His father, Marcellus or Marc, had previously been in the Scouting Legion Branch of the military. This career had been cut short when his lower leg was shattered. It was broken so severely from being nibbled and not set in time so it was unable to recover properly and he was discharged from the legion before he hardly even got started. After the end of Marc's career he moved on to be a merchant where he met Leander's mother, Marie. Together they got married and had Leander as their first child. He was a single child for only two years before his little sister, Lorraine Marie Wyse, was born. He had a fairly regular childhood up until he was about nine years old. His mother took both him and Lorraine to see their father while he was away. He was helping plan the design of a nice set of a wooden table and chairs that he was to make and sell. Unfortunately, on the trip there, Leander's mom fell ill with an unidentified sickness, accompanied with a migraine and soreness of the throat as symptoms. This delayed their trip, and being as worried as he was, little innocent Leander decided to try and help his mom recover. He "sneakily borrowed" some money from a vendor on a nearby street and went to buy her a little gift. The area was foreign to Leander, and on his way back, with his mom's gift in tow, a hat, he lost his way. It took a week for his mother to come out of her feverish dreams and realize Leander wasn't with her. In fact, he wasn't even in the same town anymore. He'd been found out after stealing, and not wanting to get caught he ran and ran like the scared little kid he was at the time. He only got himself in deeper though as time went on, stealing to survive. More often than not while he ran, he'd meet a generous family that he'd make pity him. He'd always tried to avoid stealing from those people that let him into their homes when it was especially cold out or raining, but he never stayed around long, should he have the urge to steal from them. He lived like this until he turned thirteen, not having the cute charm and appeal as a little kid anymore. He kept stealing, however, until he was fourteen. He'd taken to a life of thievery well and made his primary skill escape. Over the years he'd developed several unusual habits, one being staying awake during most of the night (even when he had a place to stay), and trying to sleep during the day. After all, stealing things in broad daylight was a bit difficult and he was no mastermind at disguises, hiding, or technique in general as he wasn't very organized. It was that year that he was finally caught. It had happened fairly quickly. He was confronted by a member of the Garrison when, having been identified, and when the soldier tried to bring him to justice, Leander wound up assaulting him. Unfortunately, it was him against now a few officers who, in the end, gave him the choice between going into the army or taking whatever punishment was decided. He chose to go into training, and so he did for all three years. Not wanting to be a part of the group that caught him, he chose the Scouting Legion and that was it.

    Pets: Animals hate him. No.

Family: He has a sister, mother, and father whom he hasn't seen in a very long time.

Crush: Not at the moment. No.

    BF/GF: Nope. Nope. Nope. Lolnope.

Other: He carries the hat he got his mom around with him. It's one of the few things he'll actually carry around with him most everywhere he goes. He also has a comfort blanket that he used to wear as a cape. He carried it with him absolutely anywhere he wandered to, which is why he still has it. He doesn't have much recollection of his family but these two objects help keep them in the back of his mind. He's a slob for the most part. He could wear the same shirt for a week and then turn it inside out and say it's brand new. Also, he doesn't make a lot of facial expressions. It's generally the same bored look, so anything else is something to remember. If put in the situation where he did actually bond with someone, as a friend or otherwise- he would most likely be somewhat protective of them in a subtle way. He can't bring himself to put trust in people, which is crucial when working in a team. He does what he wants and what he thinks will keep him alive, which sounds a bit selfish. He is VERY ticklish. He's got really bad eyesight (nearsighted). He's also quite lazy when he can be. Leander has advanced skills in escape and is easily able to manipulate the situation or squirm his way out of dangerous circumstances. Keeping his distance from others doesn't do a whole lot for him, but it does keep him from becoming attached to people who could die. He doesn't let anything mess with his hidden emotions. Before he really experienced what titans were like, and after he fled from his fear of being caught stealing, he began thinking he didn't have any fears. After the first expedition he went on with the legion, though, he came back pretty shaken, not having realized how frightening the titans could be. He dislikes titans, obviously. He could care less for contact with other humans or nearly any other living thing aside from dogs. He doesn't like getting sun and doesn't really care for particularly flavorful foods. Leander has a few likes, but really only a few. He likes things that shine or glint in the sun. He likes dogs, especially as puppies. He likes to take naps during the day since that's when he was used to sleeping in his later years before training. He loves it when it rains because he likes how the rain is "cold like him".

------------------------------

Character Name: Chauncey Dalton Kemp. Chauncey was originally going to be the name of his older brother, Lester, but his father decided he wanted to have his first born be named after himself, so Chauncey was then named Chauncey in place of Lester. He prefers Chauncey, mainly because what kind of nickname are you going to pull from Chauncey?

Age: He is 18 years of age currently.

    Gender: Male, obviously.

Pic/Description: Chauncey has a muscular, tall build. He isn't totally huge but is slightly bigger than average due to his height and what muscles he has developed. He has bright green eyes that are usually lit up in curiosity and hope. His hair is a golden, honey color that falls just past his shoulders in the back. When he goes out to be social, he generally keeps his hair up in a little ponytail. This is a majority of the time. When he's training or fighting, he pins back the piece of hair in his face so he can see and attempt to focus. When he's home alone, he doesn't even bother and goes about wearing his hair down. The thought of cutting it or even getting a trim has probably never crossed his mind. On the occasion he has some stubble which he will usually shave before it gets to be too much but he does like having it because it makes him feel manly. He has a few rather large scars on his back and shoulders, but not that many elsewhere.

Job: Since Chauncey is sort of out to prove himself so he joined the Scouting legion.

Personality: Can you say flamboyant? Personality wise, Chauncey's pretty energetic and enthusiastic about pretty much everything. He's a little less so when it comes to titans but nonetheless, he's pretty upbeat. Also, to say he's childish is an understatement. If you look up extremely immature in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of Chauncey. He loves social interaction as much as Leander hates it. He is also really playful and not very serious, so unless there is a titan like... right there and it's about to eat him or someone before his eyes, then chances are everything to him is a game and nothing is wrong. He is constantly trying to befriend people and hardly knows any boundaries. What is personal space? Chauncey probably doesn't know. He's definitely more brawn than brains and dives into situations often times without thinking first. He likes to prank people to try and lighten the mood and he's generally pretty goofy. He's also quite the lover so it's fairly often that he's off trying to woo people. Chauncey may or may also be just a tad sensitive and empathetic. He loves people greatly and it hurts him when he hears of tragedies even if the person had no relation to himself. For example if he hears from a woman that she was just widowed, he'll probably try to comfort her and wind up crying in the process because this poor woman. He's quick to trust as well so therefore he tries to make a lot of friends. This is also a problem because while he is empathetic towards complete and total strangers, should something happen to someone he cares so much about it tears him a part. He's also sort of a drama king.

History: Chauncey was the second son born to his parents. His mother, who had wanted a daughter, was a tad upset that she'd given birth to another son, second to Lester. His father was quite pleased. When he was very young his father had a lot of away work. His mother took this opportunity to get what she wanted. She let Chauncey's hair grow out over the long months her husband was away and constantly dressed him up to look like a girl. She was a seamstress so she was able to make nice little dresses for chubby little baby Chauncey. It wasn't until his father became unemployed that he found out about his wife's doings when Chauncey was seven. He had her stop immediately and wanted Chauncey's hair cut. So he enlisted Lester to cut it but when he did so with his friends things got a tad out of hand so Chauncey wound up cut and beat up. When he came home that night his father was angry at his brother for hurting him as well as his mother for his hair being cut. Other than that he had a pretty decent childhood, but he never cut his hair again. His brother continued teasing him well into his early teens, which is when he enlisted for military training. It was a decision made to both get away from his brother and prove that he was better. However, he struggled with it. He was pretty bad at learning to use the 3D maneuver gear but once he got the hang of it he used it to mainly throw his weight around and fool about. He didn't score very high on the rankings because of it, but at the same time he didn't use his full potential during the exam. That and Leander got dirt in his hair so he had a break down.

Pets: He loves animals but who can really afford to have an animal where he is?

Family: He has an older brother, Lester, who picks on him. He also has a mom and dad.

    Crush: Everyone.

    BF/GF: Everyone.

"Hey there, umm, the name's Axel. I kinda don't have a last name. Sorry about that."

"I'm a sixteen year old male, guy, dude, whatever you call it. I'm currently single but not really looking. Can't be bothered. I tend to prefer guys to girls. So, I guess I'm gay, maybe. Wait, nevermind that, am I old enough to drink yet? I hope so. Hmm..."

"Well, my looks, I have blonde hair, it's pretty choppy, bangs are uneven an' all but I can't say I look after it extremely well. I have strange eyes, I know, I know, they look green. But one's actually blue and the other's green, they both have yellow around the pupil. I don't exactly know how to feel about them but I can get a little self-conscious when they're pointed out, so please prevent on doing so. I'm around average height for my age, six foot or one hundred and eighty two centimetres. I'm pretty lanky, not really muscular, but I'm fast on my feet, pretty flexible too. I'm between tan and pale skinned and I have a few freckles on my cheeks, across my nose and on my shoulders. Other than that, that's pretty much all there is to me. I weigh around ten stone, but yeah, that's all really."

"People tell me I'm pretty outgoing, chirpy and all of that. I get flustered easily and am pretty gullible though. I have this habit of biting my lip whenever I'm nervous as well which is pretty annoying to some people, doesn't really bother me though. As you can guess, I'm kinda informal, although I do respect my superiors, I just find it awkward to talk in a formal manner is all. I'm loyal and protective over my friends, and sometimes my emotions do get in the way of missions but I try and correct myself, it's not really working though. I know I'm an extremely impulsive person and tend to do things on a whim but so far I've never endangered someone because of it."

"My history isn't anything too fantastic, a bit dark, but other than that pretty average for someone who lived in Shiganshina. I was brought up by my parents, no siblings, and lived happily for a while. Although, when I hit eight my Mum began sneaking out of the house and not returning for days at a time, my Father was continuously angry about it as well so I tended to stay away from home most of the time. I made friends with a bunch of kids from the neighbourhood and tended to stay over at theirs.
When the fall of the wall happened, I, I don't really remember much in all honesty. I managed to get on one of the boats but I never saw my parents, whether they didn't get on one or, y'know... But, I managed to live through the whole evacuee stage and passed through Military training. Not as one of the top ten, but it didn't really matter much. I always wanted to go outside the walls. I hated feeling caged up. So now I can. Even if it means risking what little I have, I'm willing to give it all up if I can see the World. I'm part of the Survey Corps and am enjoying every moment, even if it's tough."

"I have no pets at the moment, or none that I can count as domesticated, I get on with animals, they just have their own lives to live and I'm only a small snippet of it."

"If that's all ya need from me then, I'll see ya later."

I'm Nightlily, but feel free to call me what you'd like c:

Character Name:
Michael Riley [usually referred to as Mike].

Age:
17 years old.

Gender:
Male

Pic/Description:
Image
Mike is a 17 year old boy just above 172 centimeters, or 5 feet 8 inches. Although he may not be very tall, his muscle mass surely makes up for his height hinderance. Years of working in his father's corn field paid off in the long run, as he obtained strong, lean muscle from loading bushel upon bushel of corn. He has broad shoulders and strong rough hands. Mike acquired a light, sun kissed tan from being out in the sun for hours upon end. His hair, a sunny platinum blonde, is choppy as he occasionally cuts it with a razor. He doesn't do much to it other than cut it, as it sticks up straight on its own. Below his sharp stone gray eyes are two lines of black grease; a technique he acquired from his father. He used this technique often in the fields, as the black lines help reduce the sun's glare on his eyes, and continued to use the grease in the military as he is a Scout and often engages in airborne titan-battles. He has a crow feather piercing on his right ear; a trinket he wears in memory of his mother.

Job:
Scouting Legion

Personality:
Mike is a very passionate person, as he takes great pride in his association with the Scouting Legion. When actively participating in the missions beyond the walls, he becomes the ideal soldier who isn't afraid to put his life on the line and will not back down in dire situations. He carries on with the thought that his death will not be in vain. It had been a dream of his to join the Scouts since a young age. Now that he was finally living his dream, he could not be more devoted to his duties and his comrades, whom he defends like his family.

Mike is apt to strike a conversation with just about anyone, as long as they're willing to talk to him in return [even then he might push their buttons in a playful manner to get them to speak a word or two]. He loves to listen to what others have to say, whether it be their problems, their personal beliefs/opinions, or even just their relative outlook on life. He sometimes offers people advice on obstacles that he had overcome in the past, hoping that he could guide them a bit through their troubles with his own experience. He tries to be understanding of other's point of views and is not quick to judge anyone quite frankly because he does not know what they've been through, as everyone has their own stories.

Mike is truly confident in himself and the fact that he has control over his body. With this thought in mind, he can be a little bit cocky with his process in killing titans. He likes to experiment with the 3DMG, often preforming fancy twists and turns that can get him killed if he anticipates a movement from a titan incorrectly. The only aspect of himself Mike has not completely mastered is his emotions. Sometimes in the heat of battle, seeing his friends die to his left and right, it overwhelms and angers him to the point where his mind has drawn a blank to nothing but vengeance. He channels his rage into his blades and ruthlessly kills any titan he can get his hands on within his vicinity. It's hard to stop his rampage until he tires himself out.

History:

Mike is the only child of Natalya and Anton Riley. He grew up in a compact, four-room shack adjacent to the canal that ran through the Trost District. Mike's mother was a strong-willed woman with a love for birds; especially crows. She had suffered two miscarriages before having Mike, whom she claimed to be her miracle baby. His father was a farmer who took great pride in his son. He grew up just about as normally as his most of the kids his age in his neighborhood, although unlike them, he had access to books that were owned by his grandmother. He read them whenever he had the chance

Since he had no siblings to help him out with chores or hard labor, he became very self-sufficient and did not have to rely much on others to help him out [although he was grateful for any help he did receive]. Mike was often spotted around Trost with various groups of friends when he had spare time. He loved to play games with them and tell [corny] jokes. He was emotionally attached to his friends, seeing them as the brothers and sisters he never had.

Mike made up his mind and enrolled in the military almost immediately after Wall Maria fell. He was determined to begin training despite his mother's protests He ended up graduating 5th in his class on a positive note and declined the Military Police offer without hesitation. He wanted to get away from the walls, not further inside them.

Character Name: Arya Fleet
Age: Arya is 17 years and 3 months old.
Gender: Female.
Pic/Description: Arya has pale, luminous skin with long, white blonde hair down to the middle of her back. She has almond shaped eyes that are a curious maroon colour. She has a slim frame but is stronger than she looks. She's 5'4" and she weighs 7 stone. She often pulls her hair back in a plait to keep it out of her way.
Job(Military(if so what branch) or something else?): Survey Corps
Personality: Arya is quiet and distant; she keeps apart from others and doesn't socialise much. She's tactical, logical, manipulative, and ambitious and she's more likely to plan than take action. She's defensive when questioned, although she is usually calm, to the point where she acts like she doesn't have emotions. She doesn't trust easily although when someone does get close to her she is very loyal. Also, despite her aptitude for following orders, Arya does her own thing and thinks ahead, judging a situation before acting on it, which can make her slow to take action. Despite the fact that she has more of a mental strength than a mental one she is quick on her feet, agile, flexible and a fast learner. She has a tendency to fidget with her hair when she's nervous and she can be hesitant to leave those that she cares about, especially if their life is at risk but she always follows her orders. She is also very apathetic.
History: Arya grew up with two very loving parents who were always proud of her and supported her every decision. Despite this, Arya was always distant to her family as she felt that there was no point in forming an emotional attachment to someone who was just going to end up passing away and leaving her behind. They lived comfortably in the inner walls and had a tendency to stay out for hours on end and only returned after she was sure that both her parents were asleep and they stopped questioning her after a while. She liked wandering the marketplace and seeing the bustle and hustle of people going about their daily lives. She decided to join the Survey Corps after the fall of Wall Maria because there was nothing else to challenge her and she wanted to experience something new.
Pets: Arya could never see the point in having a pet. It would only die after a few years anyway.
Family: Her parents and her younger brother, all of whom live safely in the inner walls.
Crush: No one.
BF/GF: No one.

"Hi there, you seem like a reasonable human being. My name is Rika Hearst. Some say that in the past, my surname was one owned by royals long before the Titans had come to be, but I'm not sure about that. I'm no queen with extravagant dresses and ruby-studded crowns- I'm just me. So anyways, what's up?

Who am I? Well, I am a 15-years and 11-months old girl who is..I suppose a rookie in the Scouting Legion. I've encountered Titans before; the frightening creatures sure seem to want a bite off my head! Hah, they better not get a single bite off of me before I'm sixteen! So far, I have killed about 6 titans and have successfully been in 10 assists. I'm working on it, don't fret.

I am about 5'5 in height, weigh 8 stones, and I have long, silky chocolate-brown hair, and teal eyes. At times others would comment that my eyes appear more of a blue hue than teal, but I suppose that differs by the time of day. My legs are quite long compared to the rest of my body, despite the fact that I am short. My figure is hourglass-shaped, though it is not quite fully developed since I am still in the stage of growing. In my Scouting Legion uniform, I wear a very, very light green blouse under my coat. The blouse is more of a soft forest green color, and occasionally I wear my hair up in a high ponytail to keep it out of the way. My skin is very fair, which unfortunately comes with a case of an extremely easily-obtained sunburn to look forward to receiving on a sunny day.

My body could be classified as "fit" or "healthy" above other types, as I am extremely cautious when it comes to my health. I prefer fruits and vegetables over bread and butter, and homemade chicken soup with home-garden-grown vegetables over juicy smoked steaks from the marketplace. I WILL most likely start lecturing you if I see you eating too much bread or sweets! Cooking, singing, and gardening are great hobbies of mine, as well as leaving the loft for a few minutes to jog around the streets in Wall Sina. Of course, all the nobles and dolled-up women would welcome me with odd looks on their faces, shaking their heads in disapproval of my unladylike behaviors. Sometimes, though, I would sing a tune quietly to myself as I'd run, or create a new song to escape into my own world without opinions of others glaring at me.

Many say that I am a stubborn girl with a loving heart. I am not stubborn! Those people are stubborn to say that I'm....I'm being stubborn right now, aren't I? Well, I suppose I can agree with that. People also tend to say that I have a bit of an attitude, can sometimes be outgoing, and quite the social butterfly. But however, I like to also see myself as a hard worker with high perseverance. In training sessions or workout days, I always do try my hardest to be the best I possibly can. From doing so, I have a very strong core (yes, yes, meaning abs) from the Vertical Maneuvering Gear, and am one of the more agile and quick fighters over strength. I was ranked 4th in my Trainee Class, and was told that I was possibly the fastest of the class (though I could not even compare in a million years to Levi-Heichou or Mikasa Ackerman; they're amazing!).

Before the Colossal Titan and the Armored Titan had breached Wall Maria, I lived in a cozy sort of small loft in Wall Sina. My life so far has been filled with riches, unlimited amounts of the most delightful foods, and basically, anything and everything one would want..inside of three caging walls. It was a very nice and luxurious life in the innermost wall, but it was very, VERY boring. I was always expected to be a lady, giving me a habit of being especially polite during meals, and was often lectured to go and find a rich husband. This was all my parents would talk about- husband, husband, husband; rich, rich, rich. It was boring and dull, no matter how many expensive exotic fruits were bought for me. Don't get me wrong, they were wonderful parents who loved me very much. But, it was a life I had to leave. I often write letters to them, as they do so to me.

I don't own any pets, but I do like sowing seeds into the ground and collecting all different varieties of seeds. In fact, here's a seed from a flower the people before the walls called the "daffodil"! Does that count?

Crush? Boyfriend? No. There have been no boys (yet) to catch my eye. Though, I am interested in having children of my own someday, when the titans are defeated and humanity can venture outside Wall Maria.

Well, I guess I'll see you 'round! Maybe we can train together sometime? Don't get eaten before I see you again!"

"Oh, good afternoon! I didn't see you there- I've been so wrapped up in this book for days now. How are you doing today? I don't believe we have met yet; my name is Kai Griffon. According to my readings, I am a descendant of the French clan. In the past, there were millions of humans had lived in a vast area called a continent named Europe. In this continent, there were sections of land split apart into what were called countries, and my ancestors had thrived in a country named France. In fact, I have learned a few words from the language of this land. Bonjour! That means 'hello'! It must have been a fabulous culture while it had thrived. At least, that's what my books have told me! Fascinating, isn't it?

Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a 17-years and 4-months male adolescent. About one year ago I enlisted to dedicate myself to the Scouting Legion to be sure that my short little life could be of some use to humanity. I have been on one expedition with the Legion and currently hold 16 titan kills and 34 assists. It is a wonder as to how titans are able to reproduce, and what truly puzzles me is to what use abnormal titans are put to. Often times I read the works of scholars in the profession of studying titans, and the works of Hanji Zoe especially fascinate me. Inside that Titan-crazed woman is a true genius! I am not yet of a high enough seniority to participate in experimentations with the Legion's titan specialists, but I am looking forward to the day I finally can.

My physique is a semi-muscular and tall build. I am 6'2 and weigh 12 stones. I have dirty blonde, straight hair that at times appears shaggy from its layered fashion. I have blue-violet eyes; they are originally blue, but under certain lighting seems to have sparks of a violet hue to highlight my eyes. I have fair skin, and to my luck, it does not burn very easily on swelteringly hot days. In my uniform, I wear a solid white dress shirt under my coat and occasionally wear a blue-and-red tie loosely around my collar. I do not wear this tie, however, when I am assigned to duty. I am of a slim frame with a considerable amount of muscles- enough to be a soldier to survive in the Survey Corps. I do not quite have the strength of soldiers that would be called 'gifted', like Levi-Heichou or Erwin-Danchou, but I am able to use the Vertical Maneuver Gear well. I have always found using this way of quick transportation easy, as I pick up techniques on the machine quicker than most. Some even go to the length to say that I am a natural with the Gear, but I am not certain whether or not to agree with them. Often I enjoy considering what actions I should take on my own if there were titans just ahead of me when I am in practice and training sessions. I personally find it fun to calculate the distances between me and my opponent and consider my surroundings to....well, I suppose I'll talk about that another time. Most simply walk away in boredom when I touch that subject..heh. I was placed 7th in my Trainee class, noted that I was 'talented with the 3D Maneuvering Gear, had the wits of a very wise old man, and created brilliant strategies on-the-spot, but lacked on the physical strength and teamwork in combat.'

Most of my acquaintances and friends comment that I am a very intelligent, witty, friendly, and gentlemanly young man. Well, those three are the most common characteristics I hear that are identified to be mine. I personally have the impression of myself as a semi-antisocial adolescent; that is, until someone offers to talk to me. For example, I have not spoken to anybody all day, and have been reading this whole time. You are the first to speak to me today! I do love to read books, and you will most likely see me carrying a book with me wherever I go. In fact, I am still baffled as to why the Military Police have not considered that I may have books of the outside world that would be considered taboo and illegal inside the walls. I have read a good number of books that are from the outside world, and, in fact, I've got one in my hand right now. This one is about the countries I had mentioned earlier on in our conversation. There was once a country called the United States of America, and they were supposedly a very grand and proud nation. As to being a gentleman...am I? I do not know myself. It is normally only the girls that tell me that I am a 'gentleman'.

Pets, you say? I suppose I do have a pet. I have a ginger-and-white tom cat with scruffy, fluffy fur that sticks around with me wherever I go. His name is Leif, pronounced like 'LAY-f'. Here is a picture of Leif. Be careful that you do not upset him! He is quite the temperamental cat, though he is normally a kind tom. I met Leif during my training days, and would often leave out a bit of my dinner for him to eat. Over time, we grew closer and closer, and I'd like to say that I adopted him, but it seems like it's the other way around! Leif drags me to anywhere he wants to go if he has an impulse to.

A few years ago, before Wall Maria had been breached, I had lived in a small town a couple dozen miles away from Wall Rose. My past is not one that is very sad or one that should bring much sympathy from listeners like you, since I do not remember the sad ends of it. When I was a toddler, my mother and father loved me very much, and would do everything they could to be with me. I vaguely remember their faces, and there are hints of times in my mind when we would play with the nearby hens in the chicken farm as a family. However, I do not remember much after that. I did not see them since then. All I remember is waking up about 4 years later in an orphanage. I had heard from a worker at the orphanage that I had come down with a coma, and my parents died in grief, but I do not know if that truly applies to me. It may have been another unfortunate child. In my years at that small orphanage, I had taken every minute of my spare time to visit the town's library, and chat with the young man that worked as the librarian there. When I was around 9 years of age, I moved in to the library with that man (with the permission of the orphanage, of course) as an apprentice, and he cared for me very well until I left for the Scouting Legion. He, as my mentor, taught me everything I know, and provided me with an endless room of shelves occupied with books of every kind. When I had come of age to enlist in the Training Squads, he had let me leave, telling me to explore the outside world and come back home someday to teach him all about it. The day I would come home is the day that I could finally teach him something instead of the vice versa that had been going on for around 5 years in the library. It was the day I could become the mentor, and he the apprentice. And so, that is why I am here, and why I am talking to you right at this moment.

Currently I am a single teenager-dating has never exactly crossed my mind. I do imagine that someday I will find a love interest and will pass on my genetic code, but until then, I am not in any relationships with anybody.

Oh, must you leave now? Alright. I suppose I will have the pleasure of speaking with you again sometime in the future. Do be careful out there- it's a strange and dangerous world. Good day to you, until we meet again!"

Hello. My name is E c h o. I am a mid-teenage girl dwelling on the West coast, where the sun shines to no end, and girls wear shorts in the winter. I am trilingual; being fluent in English and Japanese, and in the midst of my third year of A.S.L.

I enjoy running, music, and shopping in what little free time I have. I absolutely have a passion for fashion. I also crack the lamest puns in the world, all thanks to my best guy friend.

That's just a tad bit about me. Kudos to you if you took the time to read it. Have a great day. - E c h o.
