"That would be nice, whole forrests able to protect themselves from those who think them only inconveniences." Citrine said with a smile. "If that's true, I'd better work on that too."

"hey!" she said in excitement. "maybe you could even train them!" she wasn't sure if she had brought this up already or not but it was still a cool idea to her either way. "maybe you could planet a small one that can move around and then teach it tricks and junk!"

"Kinda...already working on it." Citrine said awkwardly as he scratched his neck. "But...they're rather...territorial...so far they propagate by expelling their seeds, same for defence in the name of the heard."

"Any ideas in how to make them less territorial? " she asked him.

"Asking nicely?" Citrine said with a shrug. He thought a bit and sighed. "Maybe...maybe it needs less instinct, I know I'm not ready to make thinking plants yet. This is the most advanced things I remember...I might actually be able to show you..." he added with some serious thought.

Amythest nodded in enthusiasm. "Yeah show me!"

Citrine nodded and walked over to a set of downward spiral stairs. "Come on, just be quiet." Citrine said as he traveled down and into a hallway, aparrently the place was more underground than anything. He stopped at a small balcony and pointed down to a small pool of water, surrounded by vines and other small plants. He stood there a moment before tossing in a small stone. As it landed near the water shook and a series of small triangular plants poured from beneath the water, clamoring over eachother to get there before slowly returning. They looked like giant rose thorns but with small arms and legs made of ivy, each with a small flower on top.

"Wow.." amythest said as quietly as possible in fascination, leaning over the balcony slightly for a better look.

Soon after the company of things crawled out from around the well, the well itself seemed to uproot, a large basin with thorny vines and huge rooting feet lumbered to a new location. The green creature itself seemed to pay no mind as it was covered in the smaller ones. "We...might wanna go now." Citrine said as he backed away toward the door.
