Peridot had begun to buold a ray pf some sort using a modified version of the gem destabilizer and parts from the ship. She jogged down notes on her little hand screen and then after a few minutes of that tried adding more things, obviously not wanting it to blow up in anyone's face if they used it.

Spinel decided on her outfit. here, read comment for colors n' stuff She looked down at her dotted dress. She had always loved spots and her dress now closer matched the style of fusion dance she did. She want back up and asked Garnet, "This star good?" She pointed to the metallic gold star on the top of her dress.

Garnet nodded with an approving smile. "It's Perfect. "

"They don't let us choose anything in homeworld, other than to be a nerd like Peridot, or fight. And if you're stong, you have to fight anyway." Spinel brushed hair out of her face. "I can't imagine how advanced their tech is now. I mean a force feild is way advanced to humans, and that was thousands of years ago. Now, they have advanced enough equiptment to build some sort of gem replacer out of broken pieces. I'm scared, what if they know I'm out. They'll shatter me!" She collapsed on the floor. They never held her high before. They wouldn't hesitate to kill her this time.

Peridot heard every word and rolled her eyes at spinel. "They'll shatter all of us. Especially me! Not only have i failed my mission at the hands of the so-called crystal gems but nnonow I'm helping one with their gem! I can't ever return!" She turned to aquamarine. "Now please come over hwre so i can use this gem... what did ahe call it again ? Oh yes. Replacer on you."

"I'm not a crystal gem." She turned around and unbundled her gem. "What should I do with this now?"

Pearl had been relieved to see Garnet, but utterly mortified to see Peridot. However, it hadn't surprised the blue Gem to see the Home-world Gem lurking about, Kindergarten always seeming to house unsavory shadows anyways. Sighing, Pearl was glad to have found Garnet, but still felt it necessary to look around. After all, Pearl had not seen or heard from Amethyst in a while. Kicking up a rock, Pearl replaced her spear into her gem and began to shuffle about. To bad this place is riddled with evil. It is awful quiet, and would make a great meditation spot. Feeling like there was nothing further to be done at the Kindergarten, Pearl made her way back to the Warp-pad, transporting herself back inside the Temple.
As Pearl stepped down from the pedestal, she couldn't help but feel a bit light-headed. The Gem placed her palm to her temples, trying to regain her balance. As Peal made her way outside to the porch, she utterly ignored the babbling she picked up of Gems, including Peridot, mumbling about matters of the Crystal Gems. Instead, she just shut the screen door securely behind her.
With another sigh, Pearl rose to her toes and with expert strength dashed to the top of the Temple. Resting at the Temple's summit, Pearl crossed her legs, sitting to watch the sun start to sink below the horizon.
Something about the Gem seemed to quiver as she watched the great ball of light. It would be dark soon, and time for Steven to return to the Temple to rest. But Steven was growing independent now, and Pearl knew that she had been seeing less and less of the young boy. Pearl placed her face in her palms in great grief. Rose, the Gem she served was gone; Steven no longer seemed to need Pearl's protection. What is a knight to do with no one to serve? Am I really purposeless?As Pearl lifted her face to see the last sinking rays of the sun, a tear ran down Pearl's cheek, at the revelation that she was really without use to anyone.

"Put that gem where it used to be attached to you." Peridot instructed.
garnet could sense something wrong and turned to the others. "I'll be right back." She quickly. She already knew it was pearl, that much she could "see" but now she had to decide, was she to go up and try to comfort her or did pearl need her time alone? Garnet decided she was done letting pearl rub off to be by herself everytime she was upset. They were a team and needed to act like it. Teammates were always there for one another, with this one thought in mind she quickly went to find pearl. After reaching pearl she slowly stepped beside her. "Pearl." She said gently. "What's wrong..?"

Pearl froze when she heard Garnet's voice from beside her. Suddenly the Gem's heart was racing. Standing up and quickly brushing away her tear, Pearl stood to face Garnet. "Oh, Hello Garnet. Everything is quite alright really," she said shrugging and wincing. It hadn't been her most convincing excuse, and Pearl could feel her cheeks grow hot with their blue blush. Trying quickly to redeem herself Pearl raced, "I was just enjoying the last rays of this planet's setting sun, you see." By now the sun had completely vanished and night began creeping upon them.
