"Yeah, I suppose, this place isn't much my style anyway, doesn't have that homey... Touch." Samson said, standing up with a groan. "If you're interested I can show you around Beach City."

Emerald noticed Pearl looked a little upset and felt bad for mentioning Homeworld. "Are you alright? I apologise if I said anything I shouldn't have."

"No, I'm fine," Pearl said, shaking her somber attitude off. "Nothing was your fault." A feeling of discomfort still resided in the Gem, but as always she hated to show any sign of weakness.

"The statue is alive!" Steven yelled, pointing at it. "It only moves when you're not looking, though..."

Feldspar felt bad for the little guy. "Is it your voice that's the problem or is it something else?"

Emerald smiled a little. "I understand if the mention of Homeworld brings back some unwelcome memories. I just hope to return someday, explore the stars, be revered as a hero and see my home again. So much must have changed..."
