After putting away my things, I found myself once again, with nothing to do. I was nervous about meeting others on the ship, especially other species. Ah, oh well. I'll have to meet them some time or another. I open my door slowly and peek outside of it. I look from side to side nervously, and after accessing that the hallway was empty, I left my room. I make my way up onto the top deck cautiously. There, I see the setting sun, full of wondrous colors. I sigh, and focus in on the sky, ignoring my surroundings.

After I'd left the dining hall I went up to the deck. I see a girl and look around, there was no one else to talk to and she seemed like she was kind. She seemed to be wandering a bit and I smiled, she seemed curious and adventurous. I didn't know her but I feel like I wanted to know her. I walk up to her smiling. "Hey there. Whatcha doing?" I ask her, smiling. I didn't know if she would have heard me so I just stand there, hopeful.

I jump and gasp as I hear a voice. I plant a hand on my chest and turn in the direction of the noise. Another cat person is looking at me. This one, with blue hair! "By goodness! How many of you are there?" I ask without thinking. I bite my lip. "Excuse my unruly manners. I've experienced much in the last couple hours." I say to excuse my behavior. I straighten my hair and bonnet again. "But, to answer your question, I was looking at the sky. Beautiful...isn't it?" I wasn't usually this sociable, but, this time, I was trying.

"I dunno. Thee might be a few of us. I've only met the engineer, seen the captain, and saw myself I a reflection in a pond." I shrug, leaning on the edge a little. "Dont worry about it. Sorry for scaring you though." I shrug, looking at her. I look up at the sky and lean back a little as I look at it. "Pretty. Amazing. Beautiful actually." I smile. I look back over at her and nod. "It's amazing that the world looks like this. I don't know how it managed to look this beautiful." I smile.

I smile. The girl seemed friendly...if not a little strange. On Osiris, there were not people with blue hair. Perhaps the shifters had blue hair....but, I never saw them.
"Ah...my mother used to tell me that every night, every night God painted the sky for us. I suppose that's why it's so beautiful. But, alas, this is just one belief in the sea of many. Pick your poison." I shrug, leaning against the siding of the ship.

"You know. I can paint sunsets, fairly well. Could I paint one for you?" I ask her, smiling a little. I look back up at the sky and smile. "Well, I guess that does seem like a fairly cool thought as to why the skies are like that. That actually might be an answer but there are so many more ideas. There's an infinity amount of ways the sky is this way." I explain, smiling.

He took a long deep slow breath. "Don't mind the occasional slip kid, er Hail, but I surely didn't want to spend another night here." He looked out at the lights and could see the place he had been staying with his now ex lover. His ears drooped, but he mostly managed to cover his broken heart. "Ginna see if I can get another helping of stew." He stood slowly keeping his eyes on the bowl, "I can take yours back to the Galley too if yer done?" Be was an emotional eater and not very good at sharing his feelings especly with people he had just met, even if he liked them it just didn't seem right to jump to crying on thier shoulder. An this time that could even end up being literal.

(There was still an opportunity for X or Lauren to say something to Africca before she left, she had simply turned and started walking away with a destination in mind.)

"Solar power is how this ship runs, well done. Come with me, I have some more charts and papers for you to look over. They will help you understand more about the ports we're going to," Mako replied as he turned and slid down from the mast. Like few other creatures, he usually did things head first and going down the mast was no exception. He made it down to the deck and waited for Ophal to join him.

Opal Sapher ~ Tenta-gal ~ Deck Cadet

Opal followed, side tentacles grasping the ropes and mask, allowing her to cling and balance easily as she lept from mask to rigging and back again all the way down. She stopped leaping a few feet above the deck and jumped down on her bare feet next to Meko. She smiled at the rush the "flight" had given her, skin a bright aqua blue.
Finally. Meko was going to give her something to do. Anything to keep her hands busy.

Vanric picked up some of her bags to lighten her load saying, "It's not a problem. Come on then, I'll show you to your room." He turned and headed out to show the way.

Amerla Founden ~ Human ~ Passenger

"Thank you so much." she stepped aside to let Vandric lead the way.
It was only a few short steps to the next room but, even with the two of them heaving the load of bags, it took them a bit to get them through the narrow walk way.
Finally Vandric was able to open the door and both stumbled into the room. It was a bit smaller than the previous one Amerla had fallen into, but she liked it on sight. This one had a small wash closet and a regular closet.
"Very good!" she clasped her hands in front of her. "This will do quite nicely."
The bunk was against the wall across from the two closets, two portholes between them on the outside wall. There was a small desk and stool bellow the portholes, and an ancient rug spread in the dust across the floor. A sea chest stood, nearly falling apart at the foot of the bunk, so close to the door that the two had to squeeze passed the partially opened entrance.
Emerla dropped the bags she was carrying on the rug, dust pounded up around her. "Whoa!" she coughed trying to clear the air with a wave of her hand. "This will do quite nicely." she coughed and choked in the dust, tears starting.

She sighed, "and I was hoping I could eat like that the whole voyage, .. Well the part that she is going to with us anyway. We do seem to be short a cook still." Only nodding to X's assurance the the cyborg would be fed soon. She hadn't met a bot that could lie yet, and didn't expect X would even have reason to. "Lauren is right about his head though.. Keep a close eye that he didn't get a concussion or something." She started to walk away now back to her quarters to further arrange things.

Kay Logan ~ Cyborg ~ Prisoner

He nodded, sitting up and stumbling to his feet, shaking off anyone who got closer. He watched the angle leave through slited eyes, a low growl forming in his throat but not making it out for others to hear. She was going to be a problem. He didn't need any problems with his plan, and, beside that, she was annoying.
X shoved a bowl of sloshing soup into his flesh hand. Kay's cyber hand automatically started to form into a spoon with mechanical wooshes, wizzes, and a groaning, screeching sound that rattled every bone in his body. The transformation was half formed when the gears stopped and started turning backward reforming into a hand.
He groaned himself, mentally hitting himself for his forgetfulness. With the main gear gone, all that worked was his mechanical hand.He tipped the bowl to his mouth and downed the stew, slowly at first, trying to savor the flavor, but then downed the rest in one gulp, whipping a hand across his mouth. He stared at the empty bowl, wishing there was more.
Kay glanced up at the other prisoner. Oh, well. His first plan didn't work so well, he mise as well be nice. He gave a little smile, tipping his head to the side, calculating her reaction.

"Alright, come with me. We'll get started right away," Mako stated as he turned and slid towards the officer's quarters. He began to wonder when they were shoving off as he led Ophal into his spacious quarters. Opening the portholes to let in some light, he laid out the ship's schematics and flight plan on a smaller desk near his own saying, "Here, sit down and study these. Let me know if you have any questions."

Vanric coughed and spluttered as the dust cloud rose. "Do you need anything else?" He asked as he finally stopped coughing.
