They will help you understand more about the ports we're going to," Mako replied as he turned and slid down from the mast. Like few other creatures, he usually did things head first and going down the mast was no exception. He made it down to the deck and waited for Ophal to join him.

Vanric picked up some of her bags to lighten her load saying, "It's not a problem. Come on then, I'll show you to your room." He turned and headed out to show the way.

A smile was almost instantly present on the boy's face as he was offered the candy. "Thank you, sir" he said happily with a loud purr rumbling on his chest as he unwrapped the hard candy and placed it on his mouth. The sweet taste of the sugarish treat was just what he needed to heighten up his mood, not that he had been depressed, because he hadn't but, oh well it was just nice.

"Yes. Of course." I access my information log to see what I should do in case of this situation. "He will be given food and rest soon." I turn to the other prisoner. "Prisoner Shafer. Did you cook the stew?" I ask, arming my lie detectors.

Lauren Shafer ~ Human Prisoner
I grow red and flustered with the question. I know I can't lie to X. I've tried before, only to be found out. The cyborg speaks. Thank God. "Are you sure you're alright? You took a rather nasty fall..." I say, acting concerned. Yes, it was an act for me. I'm not exactly the most caring person. I care about myself, and that's about it. I don't have enough time nor patience to deal with others. Owen, however was an exception. I cared about him because he was going to get me out of chains. I care about him because for some odd reason, he cares about me, or at least, comes off like he does.

Madeline Pryer ~ Human Passenger
"Oh that would be splendid!" I smile and laugh a little, then watch as they leave. I turn to the mountain of bags and start to place clothes in the closet. It would be nice to talk to another human. I wonder where she was from? I was tired of the strange creatures, and I had only just met them! They were in short, a sensory overload for me. I do wish though that I had some more experience with this sort of thing, so that I wouldn't be faced with this situation again.

"Jus' fender is fine, no one calls me sir." He sighed softly sliding down so he was sitting on the deck, his fluffy grey wolf tail on his lap and his ears relaxed. "I'd hoped we would be leaving port today too Hail, nothin' 'ere fer me right." He had just left a job for this one after the guy he had been seeing had broke up with him. He had been hopeful that this one would work out, but again he had just wound up getting hurt.

She sighed, "and I was hoping I could eat like that the whole voyage, .. Well the part that she is going to with us anyway. We do seem to be short a cook still." Only nodding to X's assurance the the cyborg would be fed soon. She hadn't met a bot that could lie yet, and didn't expect X would even have reason to. "Lauren is right about his head though.. Keep a close eye that he didn't get a concussion or something." She started to walk away now back to her quarters to further arrange things.

Owen
He could still hear the woman talking to them and the bot almost sounded confused. He was still being as quiet as possible. He was still to afraid of being caught to intervene. If Lauren had been right he would just end up in chains under the watch of the bot too.

"Sorry Sir, it's ah habit" he said quietly and chuckled, "Fender. Sorry Fender, that is an habit" he corrected himself and sighed softly, "I don't like staying here either... But, well, I guess we can't do anything but wait and see what the captain will do, right?" he sighed some more and yawned.

He took a long deep slow breath. "Don't mind the occasional slip kid, er Hail, but I surely didn't want to spend another night here." He looked out at the lights and could see the place he had been staying with his now ex lover. His ears drooped, but he mostly managed to cover his broken heart. "Ginna see if I can get another helping of stew." He stood slowly keeping his eyes on the bowl, "I can take yours back to the Galley too if yer done?" Be was an emotional eater and not very good at sharing his feelings especly with people he had just met, even if he liked them it just didn't seem right to jump to crying on thier shoulder. An this time that could even end up being literal.
