C l o t h i n g - Dark colors, cape wrapped about waist, clothing that is comfortable, ankle boots. On this voyage, he will be confined by chains, and two tracking bracelets, one clutched to his neck, and the other about his chest. These irons are made to restrict by technical means, able to cut off his air supply and constrict the chest. They come with a beeper and red and green visible light to show his captors, or others, if he is on his designated track or not. Also, a major gear has been removed from his cyber arm, making it crippled in some functions.

P e r s o n a l i t y - Quiet, calculative, sensitive, yet tough.

H i s t o r y - Kay was born into a slave family on a planet. He was made to work along side his family and friends, seeing many of them die because of the harsh cruelties of their masters. His uncle fixed him up with a cyber eye after he lost his real one at age six to his master's walking stick. At age 10, his mother died, and he vowed to get away from his master. His escape plan failed at age 17 and he lost his arm in the process. Again his uncle gave him a cyber arm and hand, able to save one tendon and two fingers. When Kay was 19, he managed to escape his home planet, but resorted to a life of thievery to try and keep his little sister alive, whom he was able to take with him on his escape. He doesn't know much about the different planets and customs, he "ends up where he ends up", but he does know how to read, thanks to his uncle Domian. Kay ended up caught in the middle of the assassination of a royal on a planet somewhere. He was the only one of the group caught a few months ago, and sentenced to the Imperial Prison, his sister taken away. The judges are still debating between execution, hard labor, or life in solitary confinement.

F a m i l y - Uncle Domain, an expert with robot and cyborg mechanics, under the service of Kay's old master. Sister Roena, a girl of 14, whereabouts unknown. Mother, dead. Father, sick with the fever, a miner. Younger brother Nate, family of his own, wife and three kids, one lost to the master's cruelty, works as an iron smith.

"Right." He kept completely calm. "Ain't goin' anyplace, lets just eat for now. I'll just keep me an eye and when yer done just go report in like yer s'posed to." Keeping his manners casual and hoping Hail would follow his lead and instruction. There was no reason he shouldn't be able to subdue a small human woman if it needed. He took a bite of the stew. "Tastes even better than it smells." Giving Lauren the credit she had claimed with a nod of his big grey head.

"Ah! Then you are an artist." She beamed. "If you willing to show us I'm sure both of us would like to see tour work." She had often thought of getting her own little place and having the main sleeping chamber painted like her beloved spacers sky. With a little of that glowing paint mixed with the normal colouring on the planets and stars so that in the dim light it would look more natural. Maybe she had found the artist who wpuld be capable of it when the time came? What else she would want in a house aside from a huge workshop and the basic necessities was still to be decided. She didn't think a family of her own was to be.

P e r s o n a l i t y - On the silly side, acentric, out going, a bit oblivious, adventurous

H i s t o r y - Amerla is the only child of a wealthy merchant. Since graduating from a high and prestigious lady's school, she has taken to travelling to fulfill her adventurous appetite. So far she has sailed on all the upper-class ships, now is looking to mark the regular vessels off her list of things to do by the age of 30. Marriage is far from her mind, and would rather be setting sail to more adventures, though she has yet to really get her hands dirty with adventure....she has only experienced what other curious upper-class members of society have dared to partake in. She needs a little push into the more dangerous, and real life experiences.

F a m i l y - Father Sir George Founden, high class merchant dealing with fabrics and trade gems. Cousin Feona, a sickly young lady confined to her rooms, begged Amerla to write her about all the adventures she has taken. Body guard/buttler Peters, a stiff and formal man, more like a shadow that follows Amerla around everywhere, just far enough away to let the lady have her "adventures" and just close enough to keep the young lady safe. Peters reports back to Sir George whenever he feels the need to.

R e a s o n f o r B e i n g O n t h e S h i p ? - Amerla is a passenger...very last second passenger and not scheduled. Curiosity, and trying to get more space between herself and Peters, who has caught wind of her "escape" and will be traveling on a ship not far behind.

"Alright." I smile. I take off my backpack and hold it in one arm. I start digging through it with the other and I pull out a box of beads and wire for bracelets. I set it on the ground so I don't accidentally open it and I continue looking through it. "Is this it?" I ask myself out loud and pull out a small book, a little bigger than the size of my hand. "Yep." I answer myself and I hand Africca the book. I pick up the box and put it back into my backpack and set it down next to me.

Hail grabbed his bow with his share of stew and followed Fender, sitting down to eat whenever he could. "Yes sir..." hebasically mewed quietly this time, still peeking at Lauren every now and then. He ate a Spoonfull of stew, softly purring at the taste. That man was right, it indeed tasted better then the smell and it was filling up his stomach, soothing his hunger down.
