As Josh lifts up my head, I stare at him with an innocent expression. I smile right before he kisses me. I blush lightly and kiss back. Out of nowhere, I hear Kailee's voice, making me pull back and place my fingers on my lips, Oh gosh! That was embarrassing! I think as I look up at Kailee. I sigh very softly, so only Josh could hear, " I got to go. Maybe we could continue this later. " I say softly before kissing his cheek. I then unravel myself from Josh's arms, standing up, and fitting my hair. I pull it into a sloppy pony tail and look at Kailee, " What is it? " I say, walking up to her. There's a flash from the corner of my eye and I can't help but look at it. There was a broken mirror in the corner and I see my cracked reflection. For the first time in a while, I actually look my age. With messy hair and messed-up clothing, I look like a normal sixteen year old. I sigh softly to myself and turn back to Kailee, but notice something that wasn't there before. There were small splotches of miscolored skin on her cheeks. My eyes widen slightly as I grab her wrist and pull her out of the room. I walk back to the office and turn to her, releasing her wrist, " When did those splotches appear and how long have they been there? " I ask, fearing something.
