I look Sarina in the eyes and shake her shoulders. "Be careful. And don't wander too far from here, got that. Meet back with me here in a little while. Do your best to find food." I tell her, looking around at the trashed fair grounds. I shifted the back pack on my shoulder and patted her head. I turned and took off towards the food booths on the other side of the grounds.

Rin (fun)
I nod and salute, turning on my heels and walk silently off of the fair grounds and into the surrounding woods. It had been just Jace and me since all of this started. I had always hoped we would find some other survivors but so far we've had no such luck. Jace it's better, just the two of us. Less mouths to feed. Easier to move. That's his motto. I think he's just a big loner and a grump.
