Elley sighed with relief, "Thanks," she said, and then beamed at the chance to share information from any number of files she'd read on turret history, structure, and abilities whilst, following them out of the room, "actually, they can move. They just normally don't because it's not required to pursue it's victim because they're mass produced and all. Originally, there was only supposed to be one turret, a giant turret, that could and would pursue it's victims. It was invented during the Iraq war to take out entire enemy bases. But, the turret was also slightly sentient, and started to wonder why it had to take orders." Elley laughed at the latter fact, and said "But then, we all do at some point, don't we?" as she straightened her bowtie.

She wondered through the nearby hall wondering If the commotion had woken up any more of the fellow employees.

Nikolai
"Good riddance, Turrets" Nikolai said mockingly as they exited the room. He shuddered at the thought of being chased by a giant Turret. "Yeah, I guess we do" he said. He often wondered why he was here - and why he never tried to escape. He didn't really have anywhere to go back to, honestly.

Emotion Core
Motion was walking along one of the metal catwalks, in a darker part of Aperture. He hadn't seen anyone for a while, even though earlier he had heard someone over the speakers. He wasn't actually sure where he was, and he was wandering around aimlessly, trying to find someone.

She knocked on a few more doors but they where all locked. " where is everyone?! Did they all take a vacation?.."

"Any number of places, really," the blonde said, kicking the ground with a black boot, "they could be on vacation, but only, really, if they managed to find a way out of here. That's nearly impossible, trust me on that. They also could have gotten stuck in a cryochamber and are in a very, very, very long sleep mode, oooorrr they could be dead. Not that much of a surprise if they are, honestly. There's any number of ways to die here." Elley laughed darkly, "sorry about bringing death up. I just got finished reading a file about assassins two days ago."

Nikolai
"A vacation" Nikolai breathed. "I sure could use one of those. In a nice, hot country." He sighed and looked around, unsure of where they were walking to.

Emotion Core
After what seemed like an eternity of running up and down metal staircases and along catwalks, Motion came across a door. It opened easily, and light spilled in from the corridor outside. "Oh thank goodness" he grinned, stepping out into the light.

" well you did sign up to be a test subject in the first place right? Its not like we pick random people off the streets you know."

Nikolai
He ran a hand through his hair. "Well, I wasn't exactly picked up off the street. More like I was picked up out of a field."

" oh, right. Well were not exactly stopping you from leaving. So why not take a vacation?"

Elley arched an eyebrow behind her ebony black glasses, "We can't actually let hime go, can we?" she asked, "for one, i can't seem to find Motion. Not one file on where he might be. For two, there's only been one human let go before. The rest, well..." Elley paused, then hurriedly changed her reasoning, "besides, who am i supposed to monitor if not him?"
