Lily knew it wouldn't work but nodded, he was at least making an effort to cheer her up. Lily flew up and landed on a branch high up, off the ground. She looked out over a sea consisting of the tops of pine trees, gently moving with the wind. The setting sun gave the pine tree silhouettes a golden glow. Lily looked over to the real sea, a glistening blanket of gold and green.

"I'm going to sleep..." Taliu yawned. "We need to find others like us though... Maybe they could help you find your family?"

(You said this was a book. What age is the cutoff? Because this is reminding me of 'The Dead'...)

And the age cut off is 14. 15 and older are gone, at least in the RP. I haven't read the book, so yeah.

(You guys should read the books by Michael grant. Theyre really good. If your wondering what's actually happened to the parents just pm me, I don't want to give away spoilers to people who don't want them)
Lily looked down greatfuly at taliu. "Thanks" she called down from her perch. Lily looked back up at the sky, there wasn'tthe slightest sign of a cloud. After finding out it wouldn't rain she decided to settle down and sleep here.

"Are you going to come inside?" Taliu asked. He was exhausted after all the racing. Everything really was a game... For Lily at least.

lily wearily looked down at taliu. "nah i might sleep out here tonight" lily called down. she looked up at the sky which was now slowly forming the tiny dots of millions of stars. she lay down on the thick branch and looked down at the ground at the ground, she saw a squirrel scurry through the trees. i cant believe i used to be bound to the ground, its all happened so fast yet it feels like a eternity already. she glanced up at a sparkling star, closed her eyes, prayed to god and dozed off into the darkness of sleep.

Taliu sighed. If she wanted to sleep out there, she could. He wandered around the house till he found a bed, then climbed onto it and quickly fell to sleep.

lily woke up, she opened her eyes, only to be blinded by the bright sunshine. groaning she screwed up her eyes and groaned, forgetting where she was she rolled over and fell. lily screamed and spread her wings out, managing to catch herself. she had woke up fully from the fright, and started laughing.

Taliu woke up, hearing a scream. "Uh... Hello?" He got up and sat on the edge of his bed before getting up. What was going on? He walked through the house to the door.
