Kadina groaned in pain, everything seemed a blur, she was unable to sense exactly where she was. White flashed around her, along with an annoying ting buzzer that seemed to follow the beat of her heart. A flow of blood came through her again, and she bled more. Her eyes felt heavy on her vision, and she tried to make out where she was. Where was Zane? A slight squeal escaped her mouth in fear.

Tristan, who was arguing with the nurse, begging her to let him see Kadina, gave up and just walked right in, not caring even the least bit what the doctors had to say about it. He stood over Kadina, smiling softly, his golden eyes reflecting the light in the room, shining, rimmed with red. "Hey Kadina. How are you feeling?"

Maya stood up angrily. 'It's not fair!' She told herself. Flipping her phone shut, Maya ran outside, letting the cold night air dry her tears and stinging eyes. She stormed down the footpath, fists balled in the pockets of her jacket. Slowly she gathered herself, and calmed down. 'Me and Pagan are over now. I'll never see him again. So why do I cling to his memory?!' Maya told herself. She sat down on the curb nearby the hospital, chin cupped in her hands. She slipped her purple contacts out, and put them away. 'Pagan liked me the way I was. Not hiding in fear.' Maya explained to herself mentally.
