Selene looked at him then peered at the bullies from behind Mitchell, two of them had gone all wimpy and started to back away, apologizing but the one who had called Selene a fish-out-of-water was still standing there with a scowl on her face, she looked at Selene and Mitchell with a piercing cold glare,'' Oh yeah?'' she said tauntingly.

Mitchell stood over him, his eyes turning blood red. "Yeah." he growled, not the least bit scared. "Don't tempt me." he warned with a defiant smirk.

The bully stared at him for a few moments then turned to Selene,'' We'll get you fish-out-of-water. When you dont have your buddy here to protect you.'' he turned around and walked away with his two friends.

Selene let out a sigh of relief,'' Thanks.'' she said with a smile.

Mitchell smirked. "Sure you will." he called back, looking back to Selene. "No prob. I'm Mitchell by the way."

'' I'm Selene. Everyone calls me Sharkie though.'' Selene smiled again and moved her hair from her face.

Xaria had stood by, wincing as Selene had been called names. She was about to help when that boy did first. She sighed with relief, turning away and getting her things out of her locker. She smiled gently. 'Guess I'm not needed...' She thought, sighing. She'd been bullied herself at her last school, and had been a loner, of sorts. She'd really hoped to make friends, but...'Once a loner, always a loner,' she thought, glumly.

"Nice nickname." Mitchell commented. "I'm known as 'The Bad Boy', or the 'I Don't Care Boy' or, 'Danger' or something like that." he said, laughing. "I've heard a few people call me Ace and King." he added. "Everyone thinks up their own nicknames. To most girls I'm known as, 'The Hottest Most Awesome Guy In School'. Not even kidding." he said with a laugh.

Selene laughed,'' I'm the girl who doesn't care.'' she laughed again then picked up the books she needed for English,'' So uh.. What do you have next?'' she said not knowing what to ask.

Zane looked at Xaria,'' You ok?'' he asked with a slightly worried expression.

"English." Mitchell said with a groan. "My least favorite class."

Xaria looked at him. "I'm fine." She said, lying. She pulled out her books for English. "Why do you care?" She asked, they'd never met, so he really shouldn't care.
