Ash walked with Pickachu on his shoulder. His friends Dawn and Brock with him. "Well this is it buddy. The Island Region. Time to get in some training before our first gym battle.", he yelled excited as the group headed into Cavern City.

"According to the guide the leader of Cavern City's gym specializes in fire-types named Kris Clement. He's well known in a couple of the other regions as a tough trainer.", Brock read the guide.

I follow behind Emily in silence until we reach the area. "Alright guys come on out!"I giggle as a Male Flaffy and a Female Hoothoot join Torchic and Bayleef at my side. "What other pokemon do you have?"I ask Emily.

Emily smiles and pulls out four pokeballs, "Hey guys time to meet some new friends!" She tosses the balls intothe air and Swampert, Dewgong, Vaporeon and Blastoise appear. She tosses another pokeball into the air above a lake and a Seaking appears. "This is the team...well....minus three anyway. So how about a battle for practice? You can pick your opponent if you want."

"Okay, how bout a three on three?"

"Sounds good to us. So then. Who do you want to be your first opponent?", Emily motioned to the pokemon around the area.

"Doesn't matter. Any of them will be okay."

Emily looked at the Vaporeon. "Vaporeon?"The water evolution of Eevee leaped in front of Emily.

"Okay, that works."I say. "Bayleef! You're up! Think you can overcome the type advantage? It would be great training for Vaporeon."
