Island Challenge: Pokemon rp *acepting and started*

"Oh cool! How many badges do you have? I have two."

Emily smiled as they headed towards Cavern City, "Actually I've been so busy lately I haven't had time for any real battles just yet. See where my sister prefers to stay and run the Glacial Hot Springs with her pokemon I can't stand staying home. I'm constently traveling looking for other water or ice pokemon and training. I just recently returned from the Hoen region yesterday so I haven't had time yet for any battles."

Commander Torrent walked into the submerine base. The sub base was located on one of the many smaller islands surrrounding the five main islands. This one was close to Glacier Island. He picked up a videophone and called Akazra, "Sir we have reached the sub base near Glacier Island and poses the Solar Key." "Very good Torrent. It seems our old friend knows we are up to something...and a new trainer as well. They managed to defeat a bunch of Lightning's Grunts.", the Team Tempest leader said. "Should we go after them?", Torrent asked. "No. We have the Solar Key right where we want it. Lightning is in search of the Lunar Key. You worry about making sure that vessel carrying the final parts for the Solar Panel reach you saftly from Oceanic island. I'll have Mist and Tidel catch up to our little firends.", the leader laughed.

"I've noticed alot of trainers around here train a certain type of pokemon. I can never choose just one type so I train them all! I love pokemon big or small!"(Hey that rhymed! lol)

Emily noded. "Yeah. Because of the region being all islands most people here train water, ice, dragon or flying types. For practicality and transportation between each island reasons. But I know what you mean. While I'm mostly a water and ice type trainer I also have Ninetails. Not to mention my sister is watching three of my pokemon for me: Tyranitar, Gardivore and Tropius. She herself has many different types. Leaders here, like Kris Climant who is the gym leader of Caver City's gym, specailize in types that aren't the typicall ones too. Kris's strongest is Blazikan for example."

"Wow, that sounds amazing. I really love how each type of pokemon has their own unique thing. Like fire types are always so warm! See?"I say as I take a pokeball and release my Torchic. "I always cuddle him when its cold. He's a great snuggle buddy."

Emily laughed, "Yeah I do the same with Ninetails." She walked over and rubbed Torchic's head, "He looks strong for a first stage pokemon. I can't remember meeting many powerfull first stage pokemon." They finally reached the center of Cavern City. all around were mountains and a large volcano with a plume of smoke comming from the top in the distence behind the City. Emily looked at Kanna, "So Kanna. What two badges do you have allready?"

"Well, I've beaten Falkner and Bugsy. After I got my second badge in Jhoto I decided to travel to different regions for a while. I plan to go back someday and challenge the rest of the gym leaders."
(It would be cool if some of the show charries showed up. Like Ash, Paul, Dawn, Brock..etc. LOL Just a random thought. I'm full of those,lol)

"I've heard those two are tough to beat and I understand the whole traveling to other region thing too. Anyway what are you thinking of doing now? We could look around or something. The gym is to the north of here closer to the base of the large volcano and the contest hall is to the west a litle."

"Umm, how bout we train our pokemon a little? Then we can go challenge the gym when we think they're ready."

"Yeah that's probly not a bad idea. Last time I remember there is a smaller forest-like area around her someplace. That sounds like a decent spot to train..and it's close enough to the city too.", Emily pulled out the map from her bag double checking to make sure her memory was right.
