"cool, well, i am a shape-shifter, pretty cool, huh. i bet you wanna know why we haven't seen each other in like, ages? well, when i turned...12 i think, i also turned into a hawk and well, parents didn't approve. so they, well, just left me there. no money, no shealter, nothing. i did try and find your house, in case you would let me in, but i didn't know how to get there, and i had no friends, apart from you. so i used my 'hawk self' *thats what i turn into* to help me on the way, and when i got old enough i got a job. so what did my parents tell you? i mean what did they say to why i was not coming to see you?"
