Clare looked at him with fear and pain in her eyes. She also had acceptance in her eyes, she knew she deserved to die.

Gabriel saw the emotion, it was so human. He stared a moment longer then went over and knelt down. He reached a hand out to hold her down shift her so he could see the damage he'd done.

Clary snarled at him in fear as she tired to get away, she was having trouble breathing, she coughed up some blood.

Gabriel sighed, "Easy... hold still.." he said, noticing her troubled breathing. He held her down and pulled out a hunting knife. He used it to stick into the wound, just the tip, and allow him to search for a bullet. None was found.

Clary snarled in pain, she tried to get away from him. She looked at him fearfully, wondering what he would do.

Gabriel kept her down despite her struggles and snarls. He looked around, the other person was further down the alley. He sighed, remembering that drinking blood was how vampires healed, the lucky demons. So easy to heal. He looked at her, "Calm down,"

Clary watched him silently, she stopped, just watching him fearfully.

Gabriel rubbed the bridge of his nose, he didn't know what the hell he was doing, it annoyed him. But he took the hunting knife and sliced a cut in the palm of his left hand. He then offered it to her now that he wasn't using force to keep her down in the snow.

Clary looked at him, she began to drink. She only drank enough to heal her lung. She let go and backed away from him.

Gabriel watched her carefully, he wrapped his hand in a cloth he had in his pocket that was normally used for cleaning guns. He was fascinated, she wasn't attacking him, hadn't killed him and had let go.
