Aurora looked at him, she took off the train from around his neck, she was surprised at how heavy it was.

The vampire blinked at her, then he seemed surprised. The chain must have been on him a long time, it was rusted a bit, and the skin where it had been was worn and raw, bloodied in a few places. The vampire sniffed at her curiously.

Aurora looked at his neck, she sighed lightly as she studied the injuries.

The vampire sniffed her once more then turned and looked around the rest of the room. He went back to the sheets on the floor and curled up.

Aurora watched him silently, she sighed softly as he yawned slightly.

Sitka turned and cuddled beside Aurora in his sleep, he twitched lightly and whimpered softly, having a bad dream.

Aurora looked at him, she hugged him gently, wondering what he was dreaming.

Sitka whined softly in his sleep, then did a quiet hiss, he was dreaming that he was cornered by James. James was always in his nightmares.

Aurora hugged him gently, she shook him lightly, hoping to rouse him from the nightmare.

Sitka woke and blinked, his body tensed at first and his first reaction was to bite, he snapped at her, not realizing it had been only a dream and having not yet noted her scent.
