The huntress sighed as she shook her head. She finished removing the bullets and she cleaned the wounds.

The vampire breathed softly and closed his eyes. "For carrying a child you seem brave and very strong,"

"I will take that as a compliment." the huntress replied as she looked at him, she sighed faintly as she straightened/

"It is." he replied. He then was able to sit up. Though his body hurt badly. His eyes glowed in the dim light as he stared at her and his son, who followed her slowly and looked at her.

"Do you need some blood?" The huntress asked as she looked at him, though she knew the answer already. She grabbed her bag silently and pulled it over to her, she pulled out a packet of blood and tossed it to him.

"Why does a hunter have a bag of medical blood in her bag?" he asked, catching the bag and looking at it. His son came up beside him, "Why is it in a bag, doesn't it come from people?" he asked, making his father chuckle lightly.

She looked at him, "Emergency purposes. Never know when one will need a blood transfusion, or feed a hungry vampire." she said, she smiled lightly at the boys words.

"I understand, you would carry it especially since your more at risk when you loose blood then other hunters and huntresses." observed the vampire. He sighed, "So, what happened to the father?" he asked, referring to the father of the hunters unborn child.

The huntress nodded slightly. she sighed softly, "He was killed." she replied as she reached up to lightly touch the locket on her throat reflexively.
