Jasper let his shoulder take the force of the feral's attack. He swung a punch at it's head, then swiftly forced himself between him and Jade. He was going to be the barrier that got the beating. He did not want Jade harmed.

Zane saw Schuyler looking at them, a smile came to his face, "What?" he asked.

Sitka walked down the alley, it was cold, but the weather had calmed. He breathed in the icy air and breathed out, his warm breath fogged in it. (She could be with him, walking, or he could of gone out hunting? Either one.)

The feral snarled as it clawed at him, trying to get at Jade. It watched her with hungry red eyes. Jade watched, she quickly drew her gun and tried ti aim at the vampire, not wanting to hurt Jasper.

Schuyler shook her head in disgust, thinking he was with Clary.

Aurora was still in the old building, looking around as Sitka hunted. She sighed, her breath making puffs of fog, she sighed softly.

Jasper felt the claws tear into him, he hissed in pain before returning a swipe for the feral's face.

Zane blinked, confused, "What?" he asked.

Sitka saw a human, out on a sidewalk at the end of the alley. He moved closer, hiding his burgundy eyes by putting up the hood of his jacket. He walked with his hands in his pockets, trying to appear human in his approach so he did not alarm the human.

The feral snarled in pain as it snapped at him, trying to reach his throat.

"Disgusting creatures." Schuyler said coldly, she hated vampires.

Aurora wondered what was taking him so long.

Jasper tried to move, but he felt the starving creature's sharp teeth pierce the flesh of his throat. He gasped with the feeling of it and tried to knock the vampire off.

Zane's eyes narrowed, "They're my friends, and don't forget one of those 'disgusting creatures' saved your life."
Arthur had heard the comment, he hadn't been fully asleep. He looked away from Schuyler and then slipped out of the house. Entering the cold, and headed down the street.

Sitka grabbed the girl, and swiftly knocked her unconscious without harming her too much. Then moved off the street and bit down on her shoulder, a less obvious place for a vampire bite, and started to feed.

The feral began drinking from him. Jade took aim and fired, hoping jasper would be okay.

"They are still monsters." Schuyler said icily as she looked at Zane coldly, she hated them with a passion.

Clary blinked, she silently went out after Arthur, wanting to make sure he was okay.

A hunter saw the vampire drag a girl into an alley. He headed after them swiftly.

Jasper had struggled under the feral, when it was shot, he felt it let go. But he was not sure if it was dead or not.

Zane shook his head, "No, they're not," he said.

Arthur looked back when he heard foot steps, seeing Clary. His yellow eyes were dulled with sadness.

Sitka fed on the human, then released, he still held her and licked the fresh warm blood from his lips as he sat her down.

The feral was dead. Jade walked over quickly, "Are you okay?" she asked worriedly.

Schuyler looked at him icily, "So you say."

Clary blinked, "Are you okay?" she asked softly, worried.

The hunter aimed at the vampire and fired.

Jasper was bleeding from his neck, it was not an entirely serious wound so it would heal with rest and some care. If it had been deeper it would of torn the artery in his throat and he might have bled to death. "I'm ok, it's not too deep,"

"I've lived with Arthur for five years, I know he's not." Zane attested.

"Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just confused. How come I saved her yet she thinks I'm just a souless beast? We're not like that, are we Clary, Us vampires..?"

Sitka hissed in pain when he felt the bullet strike his shoulder. He sat the human down swiftly, not wanting to drop her, and then grasped his shoulder. He could feel the warm blood on his cold hand and he breathed in sharply. He looked towards the hunter and his burgundy eyes glowed.

"Do you need blood?" Jade asked him softly as she looked at his neck.
((I finally figured out a reason for her previous lover to have wanted to kill her! Muhahah!))

"One vampire, does not mean they are all good." Schuyler replied as she looked at him.

"Not at all." Clary said as she looked at him, she wanted to hug him, but didn't think he would like that, "But some are, she is judging us by ferals." she told him.

The hunter looked at him coldly as he took aim again, this time to kill the beast.
