Jasper seemed to feel as if killing him next time he tried to hurt her was the right thing to do. He hated thinking of himself as a monster. And telling her to end him made him feel less of one. Even if only a little.

Zane nodded at Clary then looked at Schuyler, his gaze lingered on her a bit. She was pretty, like Clary.
