Jasper took to a roof. Waiting, then saw the hunter. He pounced down on the man and screeched as he tried to knock him out. But he failed, instead feeling himself get stabbed. He and the hunter tussled there a while, each trying to win, one acted on hunger. The other for self defense and out of hate.

Gabriel was fast asleep by the couch, having dreams now. Nice ones. He would wake soon. He turned to his side and stretched a bit.

Jade was walking when she heard the screech, she followed the sound and stopped when she saw the hunter and the vampire fighting. She sighed as she watched them.

Hecate was glad he was asleep, she went and grabbed more blood from the fridge. She drank three more bags. She looked at the empty containers and she hide them, not wanting Gabriel to see how much of a monster she was.

The hunter grabbed the vampire by his hair and caused him to growl as he tried to escape. One furious swipe struck the hunters face and met flesh. The hunter winced and let go for a moment, then Jasper took off. Bleeding heavily but otherwise fine. The hunter pulled out a hunting rifle and took aim for the fleeing vampire. But when it was out of range he lowered it and took chase.

Gabriel stirred a moment before waking with a yawn. He looked to see she wasn't on the couch and was suddenly worried."Hecate?" He called, hoping she was just in the kitchen.

Jade sighed as she took off after both of them, telling herself it wasn't because of the vampire. She remained slightly behind the other hunter she she wouldn't be caught.

Hecate froze for an instant before she walked back into the living room, "Yes?" she asked him softly as she studied him, making sure their was no blood on her lips.

As the hunter chased Jasper, he was intentionally driving the vampire towards a dead end. As Jasper spotted the end of the alley he was swift in using his agility and cat-like grace to jump and grasp a window sill, then to pull himself onto the roof. It was clear he was not recovered from the barn. His movements expressed that of an sore animal. Primarily a big cat beings that is the way they seem to move at times. The hunter cursed and aimed his gun, staring through the scope at the vampire. The hunter's face was bloodied from Jasper's claws. His finger rested on the trigger as he tried to get a god shot. But by the time he did Jasper was moving. Gone to the other side. The hunter lowered his gun and planed to continue this hunt by heading to that alley.

Gabriel smiled, "Oh, Sorry, I just wanted to check on you. How are you feeling? Still hungry?" he asked, unaware that she had drank more. He was smiling at her as he stood up.

Jade sighed as she watched, she looked at the hunter and aimed at him, she fired swiftly, trying not to think about what she was doing.

Hecate smiled slightly, "I am fine." she told him, she hoped he didn't notice the missing blood bags.

The shot got him in the neck and the hunter went down, blood gurgling from his throat. He saw her, and had a look of surprise in his eyes. His hunting rifle had fallen a foot or so to his right.

"Good, I'm glad to hear that!" Gabriel said. "Sleep well, Hecate?" he asked.

Jade looked at the hunter and sighed, she walked over and pressed a cloth to his throat to slow the bleeding, she hadn't meant to kill the hunter.

Hecate nodded as she looked at him, she purred lightly as she walked over and hugged him.

The hunter winced and looked at her. the blood slowed, it seemed it hadn't hit a major vein. He closed his eyes and passed out from the pain. He would be fine so long as he had the bullet removed and a bandage to cover the wound and keep it shut. But Jasper could smell the blood. He was hungry.

Gabriel hugged her back, glad she was so happy.

Jade sighed as she removed the bullet and wrapped the wound. She looked around and sighed softly. She hoped Jasper was long gone. She remained by the hunter so he didn't get killed.

Hecate smiled at him softly.
