I continued to to walk the halls, heading back the dormitory after my snack. I walked inside and toward my bed. I sat down softly and looked around.

I walked through a set of doors and found myself in the cafeteria. not that many people were here, judging by the hushed mumbles and whispers along with the very few bodys that sat behind the tables. I sighed and turned on my heels, heading back towards the chasm. even though the place gave me chills, It was the only place I could be alone. I looked around and noticed a stairway, Im not surprised that I havent noticed it before since it blended in well with the railings and walls.

Zoe~
I sighed, knowing she was probably right. "I know we have to protect the city and all, but will the fights they're 'preparing' us for be worse than the fights they're already making us do?" I asked with a frown.

Melanie
"I don't know. Whatever is outside the fence is dangerous," I said softly.

I skipped into the dorms to see Napkin Boy. "HI NAPKIN BOY" I said. I chuckled "Nice hair" I said, sarcastically

"Get out!" I growled at Sammi, dropping my conversation with Zoe. "This is for initiates only."

I jumped as Melanie yelled at Sammi and watched the little girl scuttle out. I carried on the conversation. "What about...." I paused for a minute, lowering my voice to a whisper. "What about outside the entire city?" I couldn't help it. I had to ask. I had always wondered about over that thick cement wall. Are there monsters? Naw, don't be silly, Zoe.

I walked back in "WELL there are goblins and dragons outside the city! Just kidding..or am I"

I shifted my body weight with a uncomfterable and eerie feeling tugging deep inside my gut. I tried to shake it off, but something about the chasm gave me a bad vibe - It was spooky. I let my arm hang loose over the railing and pressed my lips tightly together, hoping I wouldn't make a sound.

I couldn't help but smile at the little girl. Being around kids just made me happier, even if they weren't supposed to be there. I ran my hand through my hair. It was still moist. Slowly, I took out my pins. My thin black hair rushed down, resting just beyond my shoulders. I preferred to keep my hair short. Well, shorter than when I was littler. After a few incidents with my little brother and gum, I never let it go longer than to my armpits.

I walking back the dorm, ruffing my still-wet hair, leaving a tiny trail of droplets behind me as I ruffled it. I looked at Zoe. I had never seen her hair down. I grunted and plopped back on my bed.
