"Best friend?" he smirked with a sigh as she pulled away.

Jayla raised an eyebrow but then shrugged. "You sure..?"

Selena nodded, smiling. "My best male-friend." she said. She wondered if she would ever be saying, "My best boyfriend," to Jessie. Or would she be saying that to Jamie? Where was Jamie anyway? She shrugged mentally. What if she wouldn't be saying it to anyone...? She sighed, frowning, looking down with a disappointed look. She looked back up, her eyes shimmering with tears. She fought them back. "I have to go.." she muttered to Jessie, slipping away past him, running out the mansion doors. She collapsed, sitting with her back leaning against a tree, the tears spilling out. She hoped she'd blend in enough to not be seen by anyone. "I hate my life!" she screamed quietly, pounding her fist into the ground.



Tristan nodded, a disappointed look on his face. "I'm sure." he said, hoping he sounded more confident than he really was. He sighed. Great. I just blew it. Now she probably thinks I'm some creepy stalker. He thought, extremely mad at himself. He wondered how, in only a little while, he could develop a crush on someone. He thought that it would be hard, but he did it.

Jessie nodded with a slight smile, wishing she would have said best boyfriend. At last Jamie was her best male friend. He looked up at her in surprise to see the tears and glanced at Jamie with raised eyebrows when she stormed past. He followed the sound of her crying and yelling, calling "Selena?" quietly. "Are you ok?"

Selena, who was completely in rage, couldn't stop herself from being mean, even though inside she was desperately trying to fight the rage. Sadly, she lost the fight. "Oh great! Just who I wanted to see." she snapped, standing up.

Jayla blinked. "Alright..." She closed her eye's and lifted her head to the sun, smiling as the suns rays hit her face.

Tristan sighed, muttering to himself, "I'm such an idiot...".

Jessie raised an eyebrow at her, completely surprised by the anger radiating from her. "What's wrong?" he asked firmly, crossing his arms.

Jayla heard him mutter something but then shrugged, thinking it her mind playing tricks on her and she reached over the edge of the pool and pulled herself out of it, sitting on the edge and sunning herself happily. "The sun feels amazing today."

"None of your business. You can keep secrets from me and yet you expect me to tell you everything." she growled, pushing him backward, but not nearly hard enough to knock him over. "Can't you just leave it alone?! Or are you incapible of that, too?" she added, crossing her arms.


Tristan smiled softly, hoping he hadn't completely blew it. "True true." he said.
